Because Feinstein was sue-happy with decent lawyers for years back in the day. He kept it as hushed as he possibly could..... which just meant threatening IWC sites with lawsuits. Betcha this channel got one. Or will get one. Give it time. Feinstein ain't gonna be done defending himself until he runs out of money. If only Metallica would go after him. The years he spent selling bootleg copies of their concerts (amongst many many many other rock, metal, punk, etc. acts) could seriously have him under Lars' bootheel for the rest of his life.

​@Estolcles I was re thinking about some old wrestling stuff and I remember having a couple of RF Video tapes but funny enough I had mostly bootlegs of them as I bought off of tape traders as it was cheaper lol. For a broke teen in 99, 20-30 bucks for a RF tape might as well been a hundred. But I look back and I realize the whole thing was a bootlegger company. At least with underground metal one of my other passions a band actually appreciates bootlegs but I'm sure metallica would like a word or 2 haha. Which btw I didn't realize RF did music too. How they managed to do "best of" from other companies like like FMW BJPW etc without getting in trouble is wild

I bought so many VHS tapes from RF Video it aint even funny ! ECW , Japan , Mexico and tons of shoots , Indies and oldschool wrestling . I even had the monthly catalogue of new stuff sent to my house every month . And I fell in love with ROH right off the bat . And I was totally shocked when I first heard this news !

I remember constantly seeing RF Video signs in the crowd during the New Generation, Attitude, and Ruthless Aggression Eras, not really thinking twice about it at the time. It wasn't until all the matches and promos of those eras began being uploaded to KZbin that I remember seeing those promotional RF Video signs. It wasn't until RF's shoots made their way to KZbin that I figured out what they were. Thing is, these signs made their way to just about any given city or show WWF had... which meant Rob was touring with the crew by himself and his own production crew...he was basically the equivalent of a male ring rat in those days.

Nobody has really spoken as to why nothing came of it. But the likely reason is because the sting wasn’t carried out by law enforcement. It’s always problematic when you have it carried out like this by private parties. It causes an issue with custody of evidence, entrapment, and the like. There were multiple instances where the way Perverted Justice handled things prevented convictions. If this same thing happened by a sting operation carried out by law enforcement you’d likely have seen charges.
