@@chronica6457Not really because actual armor and knights went into battle weighing less than modern infantry carry 200 rounds of ammunition, batteries for optics and all their gear. Let alone machine gunners and mortar men who can be carrying up to 150lbs. Armor weighed about 50-65lbs. Tournament armor could be heavy as 100lbs but that’s for jousting. Real armor is practical. And you’re crazy if you think you can’t run weighing an extra 50-65 lbs. Especially if you train in it. Honestly you could afford even more ventilation and weaknesses in the armor because the zombies can’t pinpoint a weakness like another knight could.

Wow just wow this is truly amazing acting from both of them!!! We all definitely know for damn sure that their love was pure & real cause the entire time that rick was taken away from her she never not once looked at another man to be with to fall in love again with someone else because she never EVER gave up on finding rick & she never stopped believing that he was out there somewhere anywhere! She just had to find him & it took so many years to do just that but she loved him so much that she sacrificed being alone rather than look at another man... That is the difference between Michonne & Lori cause at the beginning when she thought her husband was gone, dead forever it didn't take her long to hook up with Shane who was also Rick's best friend! So the way i see those two characters Michonne was the better woman for rick. She never gave up on him & man that takes so much strength & will power to keep holding onto their love together until she found him again. It truly is a tragically beautiful love story between them. I just love them for each other rick has always needed someone like her & she has always needed someone like him! Both strong as hell & could get through anything together. ❤❤❤

This episode overall may have been the best episode that I've watched in the TWD universe. The acting, writing, pacing, story and everything has so far been very good. I wasnt a big fan of this scene though. It felt kind of rushed to get Michonne and Rick reunited and the plot armor was overwhelming - last soldier alive coincidentally, happens to be Michonne to be one that finds him (and coincidentally takes his mask off after not doing the same for the other soldiers she killed), etc.

It was unexpected but beautiful that they found each other first episode. Viewers would likely moan if not - now the story can move forward. Also, it's a short series. There were only 2 people out there, so it would be Michonne to find Rick; Nat was shooting. Rick was last soldier because he was ahead of the others. She did take off the other soldiers helmets. They had masks, Rick did not.

Episode 2 actually explains that: one of those helicopters dropped Chlorine Gas on Michonne and the people that she was with. Only Michonne and her friend Nat survived and it took them something like a year to recover from it. Nat's very good at blowing things up: he invented and shot at the helicopter. When they saw the same kind of helicopter that killed their friends, Michonne and Nat attacked it.
