Just a beautiful man inside and out. Loved his family and his fans. I was fortunate to have seen him perform live twice during the early to mid 70s with his Stone Canyon Band. I loved his early stuff, but was also very taken by his late 60s/70s work. He earned my greatest respect when he started covering Tim Hardin, Harry Nilsson, and of course, Bob Dylan. Rick wrote some excellent songs during this time as well. Take a listen to his Easy To Be Free recording. Beautiful song. I will always mourn his untimely passing. Thank you, dear man for sharing your talents with us. Miss you.

Such a cool diddy, a vivid childhood memory. I remember that when I hear this song, I always knew it was melancholy tune and full of innuendo. Being in 2nd grade when it came out, the song always brought about memories of a disappointed musician, but not quite sure who all the people references were, lol. ~ smoky, western flavor tune with a very smooth vocal, ....... damn fine song to have a shot of tasty whiskey to. Cheers, and rest easy Ricky ~ bet you're finally at the right garden party

I love the Girl thats dancing and clapping at :30 seconds She's probably 70 now but very attractive lady. And I just love Rick Nelson and I can say that I am a totally heterosexual male but I just think he was so cool I mean he's more cool than Steve McQueen was just got to love this sweet man we lost way before his time
