I did a maxtrac on my 99’ 3/5 budget lowering kit, springs, shocks and flip kit on the rear, looks great tbh, only problem is that my front suspension is bottoming out when I hit bumps. I can modify (cut) the excess metal that’s on top of the control arm and frame just so that I can get more clearance. That’s one option, the other one is spending 1k on djm or RicksRanger control arms.

It’s actually the front bumper of a 1989 Honda Civic hatch back slightly modified on the ends to shorten it

@THExFREE1 It’s stiff, I also don’t have the drop beams to replace stock I-beams or any form of upgraded bushings yet, the trucks being built for drifting so I don’t really care how it rides on the road it’s just a plus

Would this work with my 2000 Ford Explorer? I've heard that the rangers and explorers in the late 90's early 2000's share chasis and suspension

I don’t think so because the explorer has control arms the rangers do not and the coil mounts down to the trucks I beam

Looking to lower my 96 ranger, did you have to get the 3" drop beams to go this low or is this drop all from coil-overs?

I still have the stock I-Beams the drop currently is all from the coilovers

@@fpcstudios6593 It sits good, not a fan of the camber, i went ahead and ordered the 3" drop beams also with coil-overs. pretty excited to get the ranger going again

@@trevorhoward6115 it’s a drift truck so the camber is needed. You should be able to get rid of it with the drop beams and the camber adjustment that they sell

@marcosjimenez8063 I ran -9/-10 degrees camber in the front you can get camber adjustment shims for the front knuckles.

Not this kit as it’s meant for the older rangers, on the website in description you can find kits for your truck
