Another classic Wahoo story is when he was at a bar in Atlanta with Dick Slater, Tommy Rich, and Andre the Giant. They got into a drunken altercation with a man who pulled out a knife, but Wahoo had a gun and chased him out to the parking lot, where he proceeded to pistol whip the guy. Slater and Andre were watching when suddenly the gun discharged and the bullet caught Slater in the leg. The police showed up, and Slater, with a straight face, claimed a sniper had shot him!
