Plus as an older man to one thing I can truly attest to is that all the money in the world doesn’t make you happy. It’s the person you become and the type of people who surround you. I made money. Spent my life chasing the dollar and I was so much happier when I had less. I had less pressure and more time for life. If you can’t live then you don’t.

At what age did skateboarding interest me, I’m not sure, maybe always because all the tricks skaters did were so cool to me. However, I do remember getting my first board for christmas when I was 6 or 7 (back in the early nineties); it was from Toys ‘R’ Us, bright orange, bright green wheels, strips of grip tape, dope graphic of a dragon looking demon on top of a hill of skulls. I tried to learn to skate but I have really bad balance and i didn’t even think to look for a teacher, but now thirty years later I’m determined to learn to skate using videos on youtube and notes from my friend who lent me his board
