Ride of a Lifetime: My Two-Year Ducati Love Affair - 2022 HyperMotard 950 SP

Two years guys.. two years has just flown by!
Over 5,500 miles - most of them probably on track... 150+ videos.. nearly 3,000 subscribers and getting ever closer to 1M total views on a small channel all about one bike - the 2022 Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP!
Even today this bike just makes me grin like a kid in a sweet shop. It's come along way and it's a million times better then what rolled out of Bologna. This bike has completed and delivered everything I've thrown at it... and it's just rolled on ready for the next challenge!
Just want to say a massive thanks too all you guys the viewers for supporting the channel and to the wider Hyper community - you guys have been great in helping to build the image of the Hyper so that it can become more widely accepted amongst the Ducatista.

That's one good looking & sounding Hyper! 👍 Don't agree with the cons though, no fuel gauge is better than inaccurate one! 😄 First time seeing Hyper live back at 2019 it instantly sparked my interested, but it wasn't until this year I got my hands on one. Never ridden it before, but I was convinced that it's the ultimate bike for me. One big source for that certainty was this channel! Mine is a standard version with even stickers ripped off, planning some updates during winter season. Done almost 4000km (2500 miles) with it since April, including 3 track days (video of latest uploaded to my channel).

@@hypermotardking It was such a RELIEF to get back on a bike since April 16th! The 2023 Hyper is even more friendly and adept than the 2021. Steering is far more effortless, and throttle response is very in the moment. To cap it off I received a wonderful greeting from fellow riders; hugs, congratulations! They even pushed my bike into a shady spot because the weather was so hot. Riders I only know by face came up to wish me well. It was all very touching. So Micah and I are brainstorming and we are going to make further mods. He will send pics when it happens!

@@hypermotardking Absolutely! They visited me in hospital even when due to my concussion I didn't recall their visits. They would bring me food to hospital. When I was transferred to another facility quite a distance away, they showed up. After I was sent home they did food shopping and helped me bathe. People I only knew from our common motorcycle hangout continued to care for me, and they're still in my daily life. Micah.....Micah lives 60 miles from my place, but he makes the 120 mile round-trip to prep my new Hyper! He is the epitome of upbeat and a yes-it-can-be-done attitude! His mechanical abilities are astounding!! His fiancé, Ana is excellent company and encouragement! I am so grateful to them all. Cheers to all!

Hey, thanks, I can just deeply agree, made 28 tkm in one year, no problems and lots of fun… have the normal one, put on handle bar heaters and the gear shifter, … Dolomites, Italy all over, Greece, whole Balkan… now I need an Enduro, a bit more off limits, though with the skorpion trail 2, the boy runs also over gravel…💕💕💕💕

Touring is fine with constant breaks.. recently did 700 mile round trip to Assen. I’m not that tall so straight line speed is fine with little wind resistance when you tuck in

For the road on a SP would be suspension tune/adjust.. End Can Exhausts (keep cat).. and an ECU flash and that bike will be a rocket in the twisties

14 tooth front sprocket Throttle spacers LED headlight globe Second Kal on getting suspension adjusted to suit you, and flash the ECU, even if you keep everything standard

Did you lowered the triple clamps twenty millimeters from the top of the forks ?

I pushed the forks through the top triple clamp 20mm so to help with pitch and faster turn into corners
