I rode my aunts new one yesterday, put it in sport mode and it will haul ass! Extremely impressed seadoo outdid theirselves with this one kills the Rxp 215

@saxkid07 The new RXT-X's for 2010 have a stepped hull much like you see on a racing power boat, the turning is much like a 2 seater (RXP, FZR, etc) and they get up to plain very quick due to the decrease in drag.

@GradyRho92 They are actually limited to 67mph and getting one of these to go 100+ mph would require a lot of modding and obviously the rev limiter as you mentioned.

@Th3Ramb0 I've never ridden the rxt, but i have driven the rxp. It's very obvious that it is more agile because it weighs less and is shorter. But if you want to wakeskate or tube alot, the rxt would be a better choice becuase you have room for 3 people.

I've got an RXT X 260 rs (2011) and raced my mate on his yamaha SHO (2010) and beat him every time! It's the quickest ski out of the hole, at 0-100 km/h in 3sec, trust me it's sick!

@anamigos there limited to 70mph. but it will easily run 100 plus if you can get the limiter off. it does 0-30 in under 1.7sec so it will hit 70 on flat water in less than 8 sec.

@ajrunke Are you sure of this? From what I've heard just the speedometers on the jet ski are not allowed to go past 70mph.

@GradyRho92 Actually there is only one person to get to 100.1 and he modded the hell out of his ski. I'm pretty sure his name is Julio Rivera from Puerto Rico. Jet skis are not like cars when it comes to power. I'm sure Julio's ski was pushing 600hp or more. Currently people that race the APBA/IJSBA go around 85mph or so and they are hitting about 450hp if not a little more. Changing an ECU's timings and putting in a SC won't get you 100mph.

@wingman123 not much modding would be needed with 260 hp if you could get in to electronic system and turn the limiter off it would probanly run close to 100. all you would probably need to do is put a different pully on the supercharger to get more boost. my cousin has a 1100stx jetski and it runs 60 completely stock so this seedoo would easily run 100 on no limiter

9 years later they sell the same model...? where is a 350 or 400 full carbon for 20k? instead you get your choice of 1 color combo, a expensive accessories package that includes rope, and taxes, delivery fees, inspection fees, sale fees, preparation fees, dealer fees, registration fees, the limited warranty costs money, a huge amount of maintenance required before 101 hours, that will void your warranty if you work on yourself or do any mods or damage in any way...

Ur rxp 215 does not go 70mph. Rxp255 goes 68 mph. Get a gps.

Problem is simple and I even said this to all the Rich gigilos or RIVA race systems ----you can never get more speed why because of that DAMN jet pump change that and you could run 100MPH all day with a V-6 and turbo chargers --you can only jam so much water into that JET PUMP..instead of 155mm make it 215 now hold on for DEAR LIFE.

I've had it I wanted more and more speed out of Jet Ski and KNOW exactly 1 million percent Why you can't get more than 75 to 80 MPH and how to get a Jet ski to go 100MPH but cost's $ and better have BIG Bs to ride what I know will work. Horsepower won't do it. Bet the JET PUMP is 155mm
