Ride with a (slightly) knackered Fiat Punto 75 ELX

My dad needed a second car that was cheap, practical, still reasonably peppy and not too devoid of creature comforts. Oh, and he didn't want a car with flaking paint and battered panels.
So I've sourced him this Punto, which was treated to a full respray 3 years ago and is still looking pretty good. The interior is nice too and it has good tires and new shock absorbers, so it rides tidily (for a Punto I, which wasn't the best in that regard).
The bad bits are very audible though. There's a massive exhaust leak up front, there's a CV joint that has completely had it (if not a transmission, too) and the engine has a knock at idle and low revs, when hot).
They should be fixed soon (the last one might be trickier).
For now, it goes, steers and stops. Not a bad starting point. So I took it for a very soft hoon.
