I am curious what they will do with the small area as you enter that allowed for small children to play in while waiting for those family members enjoying the attraction. I agree with you regarding the point you made how it is not scary for kids compared to Splash. I heard the end smells like Ben-Yays! (that's my fun spelling) Is that true? “if you pay attention” you see a lot of cheaply painted wooden walls - no. More walls - empty boxes - dark spaces with nothing in them. It’s cheap. Tiana deserved better.

The story seemed easier to follow on Mickeys runaway , which is unfortunate. Tianas bayou adventure had better animatronics, though. All I'm trying to say is don,t let it ruin your entire vacation

"Splash Mountain filled me with dread" You mean the ride designed with a big 50 foot drop at the end purposefully paced its story around hyping up that final drop? That wasn't a problem with the ride, that's the ride doing quite literally exactly what it was designed to do. Stripping the tension and suspense away is quite literally the biggest reason I don't think this version works as well; it feels more like a Disney Junior special than a true thrill ride.

I find the videos. I’m watching now a bit boring I think it could’ve been more than just finding a band. There’s no thrill to the ride. There’s no suspense but then again that’s just my opinion. The music is fine. It is very full, but I don’t see it as a thrill ride.

just watched the opening of the Frozen Ride at Disney Sea in Japan. That is so superior to the Tiana's Bayou. There are more animatronics, better scenes and a better story which is in line with the movie. Also, they didn't take Anna and Elsa and put them in hiking outfits but left them in the beautiful outifts they had in the movie. Disney did not do Tiana justice at Disney World. It could have been so much better. You can tell that the Disney parks in Japan are not owned by the Disney Company. They are better run and new attractions are popping up and done correctly, the way Walt Disney used to do things

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Deni! I had high hopes for this new ride but unfortunately, I agree with Bob Iger himself about the experience. He said the ride is completely lackluster and incredibly boring. I feel that the storyline as well as the new music falls flat and the Imagineers totally missed the mark for this.... Stick to the original story and plot, keep the villain with the music and songs we already know and love! It's getting universally panned everywhere because it is not better than the previous ride, nor even equal to Splash Mountain, and it is essentially a downgrade for most. This new upgraded version of Wilderness Tiana feels like a very bad sequel we never asked for or wanted, which ultimately ends up going straight to Disney+ or home video.

I personally find this conversion pretty lame. The storyline isn't strong and I missed some of the most important characters and the music isn't great either. I remember that I was singing Zippadeedoda for days after my visit. Although the animatronics are great, you annot miss the empty spaces and dull moments in between. I miss the old Splash already.
