I’ve seen quite a few of these things running around but none actually being used as trucks. Meaning how well do they work as actual trucks ? And if it’s performance is anything like the crap Ford Lightning not well. Your range will depreciate rapidly depending on many factors especially load.

Some interesting facts. Not all true though. I was one of the very first to place my $1000 in Nov 2018 almost 18 Months ago. Back then, I was told end of 2019 delivery, The price was also about $60,000 for both the truck and SUV. That soon became "about $60,000 after the Gov rebate of $7500". Then Rivian said, let's just make it $69,000. Months go by and no communication from Rivian. Then deliveries at the end of 2019 became sometime early in 2020. Months again go by again, then deliveries were gonna be end of 2020. I keep asking for options, color choices, true price etc. What colors are available? When can I spec my Rivian? Now I hear that the first deliveries will be in early 2021. Meanwhile I placed an order for a Tesla Model Y and also a Cybertruck. Maybe I'll get my Cybertruck before my Rivian? They need to be more forthcoming.

The only thing I don't like about thet Rivians is the shape of the front lights. They look great in close-up, but from the distance they look somehow mickey-mouseish. And I'm not the only one saying this. That's why I hope RC Scaringe will consider a change here since it's really only a detail. Everything else is fantastic 'though.
