So I visited Thailand after being away since I was a baby, that would be 30 years ago. I landed at the Bangkok airport and took a cab all the way to Chiangkhan Loei Thailand which was an 8 hour drive north.Stayed almost a whole month there, and before I came back home to the U.S I got a hotel room on Khao San road near the airport for a couple days. Didn't have much time to explore Bangkok but went to a couple of Buddhist temples before I left. If i ever went back i would like to explore Bangkok more. Your videos are great and thanks for sharing your adventures with us. Good job sir.

I'm pretty sure soft mushy shrimp means dead or frozen shrimp. Raw shrimp should be extremely crisp. And fresh live steamed shrimp are still very crisp.

How fantastic an examination of Bangkok life via the food-just wonderful! Just have to love,love the reality of a restaurant in Thailand and the reality of real people working hard to make a living.Here in the UK our government would faint at the prospect of peasants daring to try and make a living like this,the rules and regulations are beyond onerous.The result is beautiful,beautiful food made by real people not corporations preoccupied by profit only. it seems so ingenuine when he makes the same exact face for every single bite. I think I would get SO annoyed with it if he really does it for every single bite every time. I am sure he does it a lot for his videos and not constantly for typical life. but what I do love about the videos is the descriptions he gives. it is very in depth. he also has a nice voice. but honestly I look away when he makes that good bite face. it's the same every time when I don't like it. it just seems kind of fake. but keep making videos mark! just because I don't like something does not mean tons of others share my opinion. your videos are wonderful otherwise anyway.
