I just read about his charity work and how he nearly died of malaria in the Congo He lost most of his toes from the surgery apparently but can still walk. Strong guy

2014 was guiding in the everglads SWFL, and a real nice couple were in my morning Kayak trip. I don't know how the conversation started but found out that this couple lived a block from Stefan Everts. They were staying at the Resort I lived at the time. When I saw both of them later I gave them one of my American MX magazines that had an article of Stefan in it.
