What a great girls' holiday, you packed so much into it. Definitely appreciate watching the summer footage in frosty December. The camping, the beach, the ponies, short sleeves, summer dresses, cream teas, the banter; it's like a different, far-away world. A real treat to watch when we are at the most tightly locked-down time since beginning of June.

I completely agree with Lucy, I am a ghastly passenger. I have had 2 earth shattering car crashes that were not my fault , and I had to stop riding because of the last one, or I would have ended up in a wheel chair permanently. There is nothing worse than having a driver not keep her eyes on the road, or driving too fast. Hey, i was wondering if for a video you could expand how show jumping/ even ring works in England, for example do you need an instructor to go to shows, How you advance in sj and evening and a bit how it works

Wow this would be really interesting to hear from a different country’s point of view for me! For instance, I live in Ireland not England but things are pretty similar here than there, you don’t need an instructor to go to a show here but i find it really interesting that you do there!

For Ireland/England you do not need an instructor to show in any discipline. For advancing in sj if you are registered and doing registered shows you just need to prove you can go clear safely in the level you are in and you can choose to move up. For unregistered shows you just choose the height you can use them as sort of schooling shows as you won’t get faults put on your horses papers. Just in case she doesn’t see this comment ☺️

@@bellaheal4717 yes you can! But it is recommended to have someone with you just in case you have an accident and I’m not sure if insurance would cover you if you fell of and badly injured yourself from jumping alone x
