Hi Brock, its me again 🙂. (the Norwegian guy that wants to ride all over the American backroads haha..). Another awesome video. As a kid in the early seventeens we used to play cowboys and Indians here in Norway. Watching TV-shows like Gunsmoke, little house on the prairie etc. I guess that's why I've been so fascinated of the US ever since. 4 years ago I was so lucky to ride Route 66 from Chicago to LA together with some other Veterans from the Norwegian army. We had an incredible tour, where we also met up with some American Vets and visited a couple of Veterans Centers. We where all on rented Harleys, and of course it was mostly sealed roads. But this is something else, and totally an adventure. Glad I found this channel. Thank you !!!

Hey Jan. That’s pretty cool. My father is also a veteran. (Vietnam) I love the route66. Have only done a few parts of hit. I hope to someday ride it all like you did on my Harley road glide. I also watched those old shows and am fascinated by the west. What a great adventure you guys had

Great content Brock. Loving your TAT series. And your way of presenting it and yourself. It's so nice to watch a KZbin video on something you love to watch without listening to nothing but cuss words in every other sentence. And for that,,,,, you just got my Sub. God bless you young man !!! Stay safe brother ! 👍👍

11:04 Bro, just a suggestion: that old abandoned wooden house against the backdrop of that funny cloud in the sky would have a made a brilliant picture with a wide angle lens, then you edit the picture in black and white and increase the contrast and darken the blue/cyan colors and the mid-tone range, and there you go, you have a superb dramatic pic of rural America reminiscent of the gold rush (maybe)…

Duuude. Heck yeah. Ok I have an idea. You ride with me and take the photos !!!???!!??

Just found your channel, love the content. The Salt flats go roughly 100 miles east before you ever hit the remaining water in the Great Salt Lake. It’s been centuries since the lake was where you were. Wendover is an awesome weekend getaway for us from Salt Lake. Keep up with the content.

Holy smokes! I have about 5,500mi on my 2021, and so far no fork seal/oil issues. BUT, I'm TOTALLY not a fan of deep sticky mud, and fortunately, where I live (NM), there isn't much. So, hopefully that's all it was for you, but still surprised/alarmed that a KTM would have a failure like that. I mean, dirt bikes ARE their specialty. Great content, keep up the good work!

Yes sir. I thrashed that bike pretty hard. But all is well. Back in the trail ! You live in an amazing place. Wow to New Mexico.

@@MotoMission. I'm returning to riding dirt after a 30 year break (I still have my old '91 KX 500) from riding in the SoCal desert. So, with me being Olde now (58) and out of practice (and somewhat out of shape, not fat, just need to get more endurance for riding dirt), AND with the KTM being twice the weight of my KX (234lbs), I'm trying to be smart and not FUBAR myself or the bike. So, I'm riding less technical but more scenic roads and trails, and little single track. I was still riding all those years, but sportbikes (from '82 on) so for years I'd wanted to get back on the dirt, and since the sportbiking roads here are few and far between, especially ones with decent pavement (usually garbage here), I thought this would be the perfect time to get the KTM that I'd wanted for a while. There seem to be some pretty decent dirt roads/trails here (NM is basically ALL dirt! LOL), so, I've been trying to get out on them and get back my Olde dirtbike skills. If you're going to be heading down this way, post up, and maybe I can meet you somewhere to ride with you. I'd try and PM you, but I don't think FascistTube has that ability, and I' don't want to post me e-mail here. Ride safe, and God bless!

Shred the salt! Hey, many don't know it, but pressure washing forks will blow seals and also work micro rocks down into the seals that can then scratch grooves into the finish of the fork leg, causing an inconsistent seal and fork oil leakage.

I've had a blast following your adventure! Quick question, how are you recording your audio? I haven't figured that piece of the puzzle out yet. Let's Ride!

Hey. Thanks for watching. My audio is simple. I just mounted a mic inside the helmet. Found a comfortable spot. Ran it to a GoPro to capture audio. It works pretty well. Make sure to use a trs cable to make it sound right w the GoPro media mod
