Wow! Your opening dialogue ECHOS. Your new place seems big enough to fit your old place inside it! Has anyone ever told you that your voice gets super light, gentle and melodic when you talk to T? It's very different than when you speak to us, or other people on screen. It's really quite lovely to hear.

11:00 you might find some king-size duvet covers and sheets in hola or ikea. If you want to have more choices, you should go to bedding store like '床枕e專家', '山鶯寢飾', '柔瑟家具名床寢具' and so on. You could search chinese key words like '寢具'(bedding), '被套'(duvet cover), '床包' (bed sheet) with your living city name in google map to look for these bedding stores. 12:53 yes, it's msg + salt. One teaspoon is 5 gram. It's lacto vegetarian version.

The green bottle one you asked is lacto-vegetarian version, and yeah it's MSG+salt. There should be a green spoon in the bottle, use it as a measurement. Usually we put one spoon when cooking a 3-4 person dish, so maybe try1/4 or1/2 spoon first.

All the food from this episode looks so good! I would highly recommend not storing your oil in the container you had bought in this episode because the air makes the oil oxidise really fast and can actually make it go rancid faster, so keeping it there in small amounts and taking some out of another large storage container every so often for convenience should be fine, but storing most of your oil in there could be a bad idea.

You’re having fun building your nest🥰 Bummer on losing your winter clothes😳 I once lost a whole large garbage bag of all my and my daughters best and favourite clothes, I was heartbroken. We’d been away on vacation for two weeks and I always put all the dirty clothes in a blue garbage bag to just take to the laundry room when we get home. My ex threw the bag out to the garbage, I had to go right back to work so didn’t notice for a couple of days and it was too late. Hopefully the box will be at your in-laws , not lost, and you get to buy new clothes without feeling guilty.😂🤣😂🙋🏼

I'd be so upset if I lost my winter clothes, basically spend all year waiting for the time I get to wear jumpers and warm coats again! Love that new jacket you bought though! Also, must be kind of strange for you guys to have a big bed haha, does it feel like a novelty after your loft, or are you used to it now? That oreo desert looked so nice 🤤

A big bed is really strange haha. T still ends up smooshing close to me tho 😂👌🏻 I think the only reason I’m not more upset is because in Taiwan like the coldest it gets is maybe 12 to 15°

@@LayersOfJenn You are right! Our HSR IS Shinkansen! It were made in Japan and it is the first Shinkansen outside Japan which completed in 2007. BTW you can also try traditional railway (TRA) or bus if you are going to Taipei since where you live is not that far from the biggest city in Taiwan and you can get on the train or the bus from the downtown so taking uber to HSR station won't be needed.

Haha well you see, I lived in japan for more than 7 years and referred to it like that for that king in daily conversation living there. So it slips into my vocabulary often. As well as my husband is Japanese so, Japanese is used regularly at home. As someone who speak English and probably another language, I’m sure you can understand how more than one language slips into your daily conversation. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk

Since you speak Japanese, this might be easier for you to read www.mapple.net/global/article/61468/ A couple founded the company to introduce Japanese lifestyle brands and culture to Taipei and they specifically focus on developing that neighborhood. You find many stores you like there. The neighborhood is called 民生社區 and the street is called 富錦街. Have fun shopping!

I was born in taiwan, but haven't been back there since my family immigrated; so I kinda forgot what the weather there was like. but...all I thought about with the jacket was.....errr, isn't it kinda hot there for a jacket like that? my parents had gone back to visit and they both came back talking about how ridiculously hot and humid it is there (obviously, we all acclimated to northeastern US weather in the intervening years, lol)

I’m not sure about Taiwan, but at least over in the mainland, you go to specialized stores for individual items- box-furniture stores are more of a novelty and not for regular needs. For example, most people would go to a bedding (家纺)store for bedding and sheets (and they custom cut the sheet to your need; you can tell also them you want your sheets elasticated). It’s a good idea to measure before you go. That being said... JD.com, tianmao, (I’ll stop mentioning Taobao now) are good places to find bedding sets. Search “床上四件套”.
