11:00 you might find some king-size duvet covers and sheets in hola or ikea. If you want to have more choices, you should go to bedding store like '床枕e專家', '山鶯寢飾', '柔瑟家具名床寢具' and so on. You could search chinese key words like '寢具'(bedding), '被套'(duvet cover), '床包' (bed sheet) with your living city name in google map to look for these bedding stores. 12:53 yes, it's msg + salt. One teaspoon is 5 gram. It's lacto vegetarian version.

All the food from this episode looks so good! I would highly recommend not storing your oil in the container you had bought in this episode because the air makes the oil oxidise really fast and can actually make it go rancid faster, so keeping it there in small amounts and taking some out of another large storage container every so often for convenience should be fine, but storing most of your oil in there could be a bad idea.

There are a lot of decor and home store. Well I am not sure where you are but all major cities in Taiwan should have lots of home decor stores. Not all of them are chic and modern though.

Try Costco for sheets.
@LayersOfJenn4 жыл бұрын
I did! They only have a flat sheet that’s king & a duvet (that I currently am using now in this video). I want a nice bedroom set though .. not the mismatching mess j currently have 😅😂

I think it’s cheaper than Japan but I’m not sure about every other country! I listed the prices on screen & said them tho, not sure if that helps?

@@LayersOfJenn Try Costco. I believe your city has one~

I'd be so upset if I lost my winter clothes, basically spend all year waiting for the time I get to wear jumpers and warm coats again! Love that new jacket you bought though! Also, must be kind of strange for you guys to have a big bed haha, does it feel like a novelty after your loft, or are you used to it now? That oreo desert looked so nice 🤤
@LayersOfJenn4 жыл бұрын
A big bed is really strange haha. T still ends up smooshing close to me tho 😂👌🏻 I think the only reason I’m not more upset is because in Taiwan like the coldest it gets is maybe 12 to 15°

For King-sized sheets/duvet covers, check out IKEA!
@LayersOfJenn4 жыл бұрын
I got a duvet from IKEA but they only have maybe two sheets to choose from and I didn’t want floral 🙃🙃🙃 I’m going to keep looking 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

@@LayersOfJenn The online shopping is more popular in Taiwan. You might try some websites if you can read Mandarin. For example, Momo www.momoshop.com.tw/

It will be a bit cold in the winter because of the humidity, kinda reminds me of the weather of Vancouver in Fall
@LayersOfJenn4 жыл бұрын
Ahhh okay!! I’ve never experienced Vancouver winter but, I’m from Nova Scotia where we get a lot of snow and rain. I think the climate might be similar to Vancouver since we are both on the ocean !!

Did you personally have any issues going to onsen or sento while living in Japan with you tattoo? I've heard that a lot of places are starting to allow foreigners with tattoos entry.
@LayersOfJenn4 жыл бұрын
Well, they "say" a lot will let people enter but I have yet to hear anything more. I have only been allowed into one public onsen with tattoos in Hakone. The rest (Shimane, Nagano, Hakone again, etc) I wasn't allowed to enter so hubby & I rented private rooms always. The same applies for public pools. If you hotel has a pool, there is a strong chance you won't be allowed to enter. When in doubt, always ask!

Ahh I'm having a super bad week but been waiting for this video since I saw bits on insta 😊 Is it really expensive having to furnish such a large place compared to Japan, are things expensive? I know you did the conversion for the meat but I don't eat meat so I have no idea if that's expensive 😅
@LayersOfJenn4 жыл бұрын
I definitely find some things are expensive but that’s why I’m sticking to IKEA, Nitori, and muji (more affordable places)

@@LayersOfJenn ah ok, that's so funny, Muji is incredibly expensive in the UK 😅 But amazing there's Daiso there (wish we had Daiso!)
