Karts don't use them(steering damper), typically, if the front end is aligned there is no need. I guess one could retrofit one for a bike or quad, but it just adds unneeded weight.

I have seen a lot of friends get injured and killed in that time. From experience if you are going to run that fast, especially on a public road you are sharing with cars and trucks, please get a helmet, cage and harness. There are worse things than dying, being injured and out of a hobby or sport you love forever is one.Injuring or killing someone else is another.

I ran go karts in the 60’s, we used Mac 10’s which were chainsaw engines. I had a race ready cart i raced weekly. It would do a little better than 70 mph consistently. It could have been geared higher, but that hurt the power in my turns. I’m not at all wanting to criticized your built machine, its spectacular. I’m probably going to build one very similar and want to make sure I can upgrade that Yamaha from time to time. Can you do another video on going to a larger motor.

Looks like you need to extend the pedals so the contact point is on the ball of your foot. Will give you more linear control. Also, put in a heel rest so your leg isn't floating.
