Great to see you riding and not being all hot and flustered. Keep to the roads that you’re comfortable with and when disaster strikes it will be easier to deal with because it won’t be a regular occurrence... Great episode...👍👍👍👍

Great stuff, Liss. Beautiful scenery, a very different calm and contemplative approach to riding - good to see you with all the stress lifted away and we can see that you are really enjoying the peace and reflective time, even when things don't quite go accordingly, you are much more chilled about it all. Lovely camera work and editing too, your narration and philosophising just add to a very fine episode. Safe travels onward.

Thanks Liss, you made me realize than you can just enjoy bike rideing alone, my poor himilayan has been sitting in my garage with a flat battery and not regerstered, time to get her back on the road and start enjoying her again, i have lots of mates to ride with but sometimes just riding on your own is good for your spirit, time to pull my finger out and enjoy what she is in my life, a machine to escape my problems, love this episode.....

The great insights you mention about riding with someone rather than alone can be applied to life itself. There is never a time when everything you said doesn't apply to an individual experiencing life and/or a couple experiencing life together. Well said. Me? I'm a loner. So I felt every word.

This is more than the best video released to date on the channel, it's a great video. There is more story here than most travel vlogs we find on KZbin. I would absolutely recomend you start your own channel. Harry has expressed that he wants to learn the stories of the people he meets and relay that to his audience, an admirable goal, and one that has value. It does not however serve you. What you have shows us, and I hope yourself, is that you have your story to tell as you move through the world. You have more talent than being the woman who rides on "Tricky tracks," and I hope you embrace that. - Frank

Riding solo, which I have mostly done makes one more cautious and careful about carrying that extra gear as in the event something goes wrong you have to carry enough spares or tools to get you to help. Having said that I have just come back from an organised 20 day group, ten bikers, great bunch of guys, wide selection of bikes from 1250cc GS’s down to me and my mates 300X’s, it was a fast pace for us, too fast for me, but survived. Basically I think the organisers tried to pack in too much not allowing time to savour the many sights, and there were a lot. It was from Thailand to Vietnam via Laos, 5000kms by the time I returned home in NE Thailand, totally exhausted, I think for the last week I was running on adrenaline, which suddenly hit me the day after I got home. Still although not cheap it was a rare treat, and not sorry I did it, infact the same organisers are working on Myanmar and I have already put my hand up. As the saying goes you only live once and best to make the most of it, I am 76 so had better get on with it. yea ha.

No my friend, SIAM from the Thai history according to Preedee Pranomyong book, we used to called our country "สามปเทส(ancient writing style)" (Sam-Pa-Tes) which means the country of equally since Ayutthaya(Yodia) period (since 1350). สาม(Sam) means equal in the past but nowadays means number Three and ปเทส(Pa-tes) means country. But it was because all of the foreigners accent that called us Siam my friend and at that period every country around the world known us that the people who lived at the side of this world at this area called SIAM. But for the Chinese at that time according to the Chinese history at that time they called us "SIAN Kingdom" my friend which could be Siam or Sukhothai Kingdom too still not really sure in their history book because their history just mentioned that there are only 2 Kingdom in the area here at That time and SIAN Kingdom probably means Siam or Sukhothai Kingdom and the other Kingdom they called "Lua-wor" which probably means Ayutthaya Kingdom and nowadays Sukhothai is just one of a provinces in Thailand and Ayutthaya(Yodia) too is just only a province in Thailand. Lol And the SIAM Thai people actually read as "Sa-Yam" my friend not Se-am. Example, Iconsiam mall we called I-Con-Sa-Yam. Lol it's probably that's why foreigner always confuse at that period. Lol And THAI means Freedom in Thai language my friend so it actually means land of the freedom. 💕💕💕

As others have said. This is so much better, and easier to watch, than your episodes with Harry. No more cringing as he finds something wrong with you. Your video style is much preferable as well. Your personal reflections add a lot, that was missing before. I certainly agree with the early morning rides. I did that on a ride from Wisconsin to Oregon, to beat the heat, and discovered how nice of a time of day to ride that is. Itchy Boots has some serious competition.

I absolutely loved this video! You have a smooth way about yourself. A confident flow. When I was having life issues a friend forced me to ride a week with him. On one tough switch back road I was worried about holding him up and tried to wave him on. He pulled up and asked what was wrong. After telling him he said, don't worry about others around you. What he said next I've applied to riding and to my life, Ride You Own Ride. For 20 years I've been, Riding My Own Ride. I feel more like a Complete ME, and because of that I feel I'm of more value to others.

2:05 Great bike turning technique there. Bigger guys can do that more easily than smaller guys. But all guys have a huge advantage due to more upper body strength. So what you achieved there was pleasing to see. And in case you might still wonder if I’m being sexist, I’m a bigger guy who used to have a lot of upper body strength, but since my spinal condition has worsened, I’m finding all jobs more difficult. We learn to compensate, and use transferred weight instead. Does it work as well with a pad on the end of the stand I wonder?? Ride safe. Peace 🏴
