Easy test to see if a person ever owned a tube screamer: they tell you to to turn it on because they can't tell from the led. They are next to invisible.

Yuppi seriously. You have to be directly in front of it looking down straight into the led to see it. MXR, on the other hand, penetrates into the very fiber of your existence if you’re within 5 nautical miles of it.

The Maxon branded ones have a slightly brighter LED but they are a lot dimmer than other pedal LEDs for sure. The Boss and MXr pedals I have are a lot brighter.

Ola, my current rig was put together by watching your demo videos, every bit of it, except for the cabinet. I'm running a Horizon Devices Precision Drive into a Boss OD-200 into a PRS MT15 (clean channel, scooped mids) into an Eminence 2X12 cabinet with 75 W Eminence Governors. I owe you thanks for the demos; because of them I made some good informed decisions and am quite happy and satisfied with this rig. Give it a try and thanks again, man.

It's hard not using an overdrive even with high gain amps. Even tight amps like Engl sound better with an overdrive/boost in front of them. The tone you get out of this rig is warming up my heart!!

Had one for almost 20 years. Didn't really use it anymore and sold it last summer. I'd been watching over the years as the value increased. Just the head alone went for more than double what I paid for it and a cab.

Honestly with a Celestion speaker the original RG sounds like a solid state JCM, and the Century sounds like a solid state Soldano! I think these old solid state Randalls are simply underrated regardless of Dimebag

All you need is a killer head, good OD, noise gate, and add a delay in there for leads. Simple set up that will do a lot

Randall Century just went up in price! 😂 I think that the TS9 sounds way better than the MXR and PQ4 Dime used. It has more attack and bite. I use to use a TS9 and later a Fortin Grind with my RG100HT.

I once had a Washburn 36 Fret with red and black crackled paint design -I thought it looked mad and bad but played good, but that Dimebag model looks and sounds like a weapon of mass destruction hooked up to that amp.💪
