Automatic Control Rig Setup with Facial Controls using "Mixamo auto control rig" Script in Maya.
Make a runner game ready character using Adobe Fuse, Mixamo's online Rigging and Maya. Customize the way your character looks in adobe fuse then rig it using mixamo's website Autorig and then take it back to Maya to give it controls using Mixamo auto control rig script and animate it according to the way you like.

Hey nice Tutorial very helpful but since Adobe killed the Server Uploadserver for Fuse, u cant get the facial rig anymore from mixamo. Any chance to get some help there ? Ive buyed Character Creator 3 + iclone but the Datasize of this Characters ARE HUGE ! Puttin them into Unreal with HQ Shaders takes a 55MB FBX up to 400MB sometimes ... Thats WAY TO MUCH ! Fuse Characters are tiny and very efficent (usually about 50MB for 1 Character, thats alot better !) so thats why i wanna stick with Fuse but as i said the facial animation is not possible out of Mixamo anymore...

Hey Guys. I have a little problem here. After that script, there are four types of blendShapes. Yea, like (blendShape1, _ncl1_1, _ncl1_2, _ncl1_3). But here's the thing. When I wanna export that character like "to Unreal Engine", it seems like I'm exporting only three of them without _ncl1_3, which controls mustache movement with mouth or eyelashes. Any idea? Even the eyelashes aren't synced with blinks..

Hi, can you expand on that question. it would be better if you can share what you did (like after you created the character in fuse you clicked send to mixamo? or downloaded the obj? in mixamo did you select standard skeleton & with facial blendshape?) and any thing else you would like to mention!

@@CGFamilyStudio Okay.. here's the thing. I created the character in Adobe Fuse, then I sent it to Mixamo, add blendshapes (Mainly eyes), and downloaded T-Pose in FBX. I created a new project in Maya, imported that FBX file, changed transparency (like Moustache and Eyelashes) and I used that script. In Maya, everything works fine. Blendshapes are good, moving is fine, there's no problem. But, every time I tried to export that character to Unreal Engine (By the way, I need to use FBX 2011 for the name of blendshapes) there are no blendshapes for eyelashes like I tried to animate blink, but eyelashes didn't move, also as the mustache with the mouth. That's the problem.

Hello, your issue seems to be related to your character not the script. Try following the 1st part of this video as mentioned in it & match your settings. I am certain that will help. 🧐

When we export the character to the Mixamo, then we download it and open it in the Maya and play the script, it does not give the details of moving the face, what is the reason for that?

What Character are you trying to use, Is it made in Fuse? or your own character?

Hi there 😊, i don't think you need any link. The script is built with all the settings in it. If you are missing facial controls, I suggest you match your rigging settings in mixamo's website closely with our 1st part of this video. 👌
