Rigging A Biped With Arise Rigging System

For someone who doesn't need to learn the deep theory of rigging this had been really nice making my own characters. So, thanks for that! I really hope at some point you're able to do tutorials on how to add like props or how to do loose clothing and such.

You can keep the head with the hair on a separate duplicate mesh and after rigging is done, wrap the head with the hair to the skinned mesh

6:52 When I press the build all button, the joints come out well in their respective positions, but the controllers come out too big. How do I create them to fit the controllers?

Thanks for the tutorial! When I go to build the rig I'm getting errors stating that "missing Maya node to create a connection". Do you know what might be causing this? Thanks!

It basically warns you that a connection driving an Arise node wasn't created. Like the arm is driven by the spine. It might be that you built, for example, the arm but not the spine. If you build the whole rig and still get this error, check the nodes are connected correctly. Are you using a preset as a starting point?

@@etayherz thanks for your reply! I am actually using the biped preset and made no changes to it so it's curious that I'm getting errors

@@DougGordon-h5n I believe it is because you did not build all the nodes. Press the button on the Arise top bar that builds all the nodes. Do you still get that error?
