Number 2 is hard to tell the differences NGL
@DashOnWavesАй бұрын
@@RachataBanluewong Yeah, it took me a repeat myself. I had to notice how the bag caved in, showing the point of contact and the force dispersing afterwards. It also looked like it was much less effective if you watch it a couple times. You also have to pay attention to the angle he comes at, and imagine how you are going to receive it by placing your arm on the bag without punching and trying to push it both with the shoulder receiving the weight, and then the forearm and arm aligning to receive it with the whole arm properly. You will notice a huge difference between swinging out and punching the side as apposed to striking "Through" the side fluidly. Id pause the video and feel it yourself in real time with something for you to push with your arm the same way. You will notice right away that your shoulder will take a huge burden if you do it the wrong way, especially if you actually punch. I hurt myself this way when I played with the punching bag without prior knowledge.

In the straight I think its about landind with the major teo knuckles (is that the word?) The second seems to be about not putting too much preassure on the shoulder and using body rotation instead While the last one seems to be about cutting the scape route of your opponent, not letting him dance around and closing him on the corner

Bro i wanted to ask, if you ever practised infighting skills, could you please make a video for Infighters defensive footwork, today i spared my brother, and I've tried my own pattern, but he seemed to not even be tricked with that, the hardest part for me is to move back properly, and be able to trick my opponent with pivots, although I'm an infighter, who's mastering peekabo style, and as i said already I'm making progress, but I overthink sometimes on defensive, I'm damn good at hand blocks, because in the past I've done wing chun kung fu, and for me to make the fight look like a movies is a finger snap, but my focus is just defensive footwork for infigtning, the right way to do the peekabo offensive side step, and be able to get back with a balanced footwork is hell of a work 😂, what makes me happy, is that i always create angles for lead hooks, and body shots, just like Mike did in his fights, I've ducked just for checking, and gazel step lead hooked my brother, he went flying 😂😂, but he was ok, because it was light sparring, we don't wanna brain injuries, because we don't have the boxing helmet for protecting the head

Humble personal opinion: There are no absolutes. Here are two common mistakes i want to address: 1) Hyper emphasis on trying to land with the first two knuckles for straight punches. 2) Premature rotation of the arm resulting from it. Those two go hand in hand. The issue with landing on the first two knuckles (if done incorrectly) results in breaking the structure from the shoulder to the knuckles. Particularly the elbow and the wrists. When this structure is broken, proper form and power transfer is lost, and the risk of injury increases. The line from the elbow to the pinky should be straight or slightly bent inwards towards your centerline. When boxers are too focused on landing with the first two knuckles, premature rotation occurs and straight punches lose their "straight" structure. For example, a lead jab with premature rotation causes the arm to deviate outwards, away from the intended point of impact. Sure, you may land with your first two knuckles, but it defeats the purpose because the straight punches aren't straight anymore. Ways to fix this: Practice punching straight out, and only rotate inches away from the target, or on impact. The closer the better. This would also decrease telegraphing (since your elbows do not stick out), apart from maintaining correct form. Things to try. This is in direct contrary to what the video indicates as wrong, but punching with your last three as opposed to the first two, helps to maintain the structure between the elbow and the wrist. One way you can use to train this is to use your middle knuckles as your point of aim. This is also taught by Jack Dempsey. One way you can test this is by doing push ups. First try with your first two knuckles, then try with your last three. You'll feel the difference. Ask me anything and if you've tried the stuff i explained, let me know what you think.
