Zach, long time fan, and this is the best right side power video, no one else is doing this, Bradley Hughes is similar with his 4:30 arm delivery position, but but he omits when right arm delivers power, other teachers try to teach this by throwing motion but none ever solved the problem of playing a ball too far forward or hitting it uphill. It reminds me and clarifies the baseball batters drill of hitting down with the right arm. First time I did the drill it immediately fixed my release to downward to compress the ball...immediate success. Thanks.

Zach, I just wanted to say that your videos have helped my game in leaps and bounds. I now play to a 4 handicap, down from a 7. You explain the swing in a easy to translate form. Thanks for all the videos. Richard Hance Lakeland, FL

Thank you for your excellent teaching videos! I can say I watched all of your videos and specially this particular video is for me. I struggled all my life with casting on top of swing, no teachers could fixed this for 30 years. I’ve taken lessons from the top 100 teachers for weekly or every other week. I simply cannot do it what I was told to do it, even this fantastic drill I cannot do it. I’ve spent hundreds of hours watching videos and private lessons. I like your teaching best of all!!! I watched magic move again and again, when I go to the range to practice I find my wrist is NOT able to be tamed not to early release which is the first move on my down swing. Lessons after lessons, teachers after teacher, plus hours of practice frequently doesn’t seem to help me. I am about give up.

been golfing for 5 years. trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together. and this was the video that finally got me to break 80. i went into this season saying if i dont break 80, after getting so close many times last year, then i was going to quit golf. thanks zach. i had so many 150-175 yard shots landing within 10 feet for gimme two putt pars. got 3 birdies on the day. shot a 78. my driver was average for me. my irons and driver are inversely related. but this unfolding of the right arm concept is the feel i had all day, and it felt good.

I heard on the sky golf channel to “always feel like the club is on your right side throughout your swing and never in front of you” (just a feeling) this tip has helped me a lot to stay connected, clear the hips and hit it straight and longer!

Golf Swing Illusion @4:36. Arms go up and down, body turns this motion. Blending the two, you have the golf swing.

this the best instructionel that's actually working for me! I was all over the place with my irons, and now that Zack showed me what the right arm is doing in the transition, wowwwwwww! I hit boring irons shot , straight, and long now!!!! Thank you so much Zack!

I watched this video on the throne last night and played today with it and had a really good round. Got off to a shaky start due to ball position but sorted that out after a couple of holes then the changes kicked in and I eagled the par 5 and generally played really well. On the last hole I hit a 1 iron further and straighter than my partners driver! The sand drill is excellent for the correct feel. Thanks Mr Allen I now have good feelings about this season.

here's a great 1 iron drill: take your normal grip and stance (do this without a ball). make a full backswing, and begin a very smooth transition/downswing. just after the impact position, release both hands from the club. let the 1 iron fly away from you. with any luck it will land in a lake. never pick it up again.

Zach your videos have really helped my golf game a ton. But some of your drills crack me up. There is no way I'm going in the sand trap and slamming my club in there. But the right arm straightening is awesome. Really helps get forward shaft lean.

Thanks for another great lesson Zach. I'm a lefty golfer who used to play a lot of tennis. I actually played tennis right handed and my backhand was more powerful than my forehand. When I swing a golf club, I feel like my best shots are hit when I try to recreate my tennis backhand. Should I focus on trying to use my left side more or just stick to what I'm doing and having my right side dominate the shot?

At what point should you begin the uncocking of the wrists? Or do you even think about it? Another great video by the way. Thanks!
@oscarc6188 жыл бұрын
FlyingSolo77 you don't ever want to do that. If you did you would cast or flip. You don't need to try force the lag. All you need is soft grip and soft arms and the arms need to swing with a lot of speed. When the arms are swinging with a lot of speed, there would be natural lag.
