I can feel the Yasui love, but it also has a very "old school anime" feel. Like it'd be the opening to a Falcom competitor's game.

I'M TOTALLY OBSESSED WITH THIS BANGER YOU SHOULD USE YOUR MUSIC FOR A GAME, YOU MAY BE THE NEXT TIM FOLLIN

What a cursed thing to say lmao - the skill of Tim Follin yes, the choice of games... not so much :D

it feels funny knowing that I first heard this before ever listening or knowing anything about eschatos, now that I do, this is even more of a banger than what I initially thought,,!!!

So, I guess since it’s been firmly established that your music exceeds most of the competition out the gate, where do you draw most of your inspiration? What kind of music do you listen to? Do you have a favorite composer/artist?

depends on my current state of mind but prominent ones are yasui, infected mushroom and camellia (my genres are fucked lol)

@@64Abstract Figured yasui, surprised to hear infected mushroom, though I guess that makes quite a lot of sense. Bombat is my favorite Mushroom track

_nice_ i want to go about making an opna format in FL, using Genny (6 FM channels, 3 PSGs (with the SN7), and 7 seperate DACs (LOL))
@Sebastianlogin2 жыл бұрын
@@jtg55 the opna has a built in ym2149, which is not the same as the sn7, its very differebt and as far as i know, the sn7 is 2 octaves higher than the ym2149, and it has another type of noise very different to the 4th sn channel
@jtg552 жыл бұрын
i... know that. it'd be for fun... i'm not trying to emulate it _exactly..._
@64Abstract2 жыл бұрын
honestly if you're only using the squares and not the noise too i think its fine enough
