Rigid Heddle loom - Weaving a Supplemental Warp

If you are interested in using a supplemental warp on your rigid heddle loom here is one option. I hope this provides another idea for weaving using accent yarns in your warp.
I must admit rigid heddle weaving is not my strong point, however I am learning a lot.
After I made this recording a friend suggested using string heddles on a rod to lift the supplemental yarns. Similar to tapestry weaving. I will do this the next time!

I suggest putting a string through the first pickup yarns, so after you take out the stick you can easily put it back again instead of having to go through the extra time making sure its all picked up correctly each time. Or use heddle strings and a dowel. Both work well and save time.
