Congrats on your Rigid Rack, looks really nice. I looked at this brand along with offerings from TimberNation. Ended up designing a three shelf rack using birch butcher block countertops via Home Depot and legs made from African mahogany. I was lucky as my neighbor/friend has a well stocked wood shop in his garage and I have an industrial arts teaching background. As you know, finding the right rack to meet your needs is difficult and can be somewhat costly. I was looking at about $4000 to buy a rack but able to make one for around $1000. Again, congrats on your new rack!

Thank you! I’d love to see your rack. I admire folks that have the talent to build their own, that’s a skill set I never was able to develop. I’m sure it’s not only functional, but stunning. My best to you.

What is the brand name of the brush on the top shelf? A very impressive set up, it looks great!

I mounted my turntable (Linn LP12) on a wall mount (live edge 🍁Maple) and you can’t beat a quality set up.

Walls also vibrate 🤣…kinda disappointed with the wall mount bracket set up. It’s way too bulky. I need a heavy shelf like this one…put the table on the side wall and not in the middle of the speakers. 🔊

@@Staybrown11Then it’s time to seriously give some thought to a hard case of physical isolation..build a platform FROM THE BASEMENT up to the main floor …or you’re looking at structural work to reinforce the floor …no cheap way ..no matter how good the stand is .

Wall mounting is a great option. I know it’s Rega’s preferred method. With the Stack Audio AUVA EQs, combined with the Butcher Block Acoustics rack and isolation block, I can jump next to the turntable and it won’t skip. A review is coming soon on the AUVA EQs. Stay tuned!

That is a nice solid shelving unit. The only thing that would keep me from getting one is if you’re using the shelf close to the wall you would have to move the shelf away from the wall to get to the back of your Audio Units for any reason Other wise a nice unit

Once the gear is set, not much to do behind the unit unless you upgrade a component 😉

How much did this rack set you back?

I was looking at it a while ago. I think it is about 2500-3000 depending on the options. I ended up building one myself using butcher blocks and some steel rods. A bit of work but for much less. I do like the rack but just over my budget.
