Much relief after going through this stuff kzbin.infoUgkx-ip-9JdKgYMhubLnEjt3OXJkFyS4D2Jd Stress no doubt affects my blood sugar levels. Taking a walk usually helps bring them down. Eating sweets is not my favorite, but if i take a large portion of them, my blood sugar level rises high. I think it's the high concentration of the glucose flowing into the bloodstream all at once. This is a lesson worth taking note of. This is a great material to learn from.

This is the diet you use to REVERSE Diabetes, after you reverse it....Just switch to a low cab diet, or the Mediterranean diet. Reversing Diabetes is different for everyone. Many people will reverse it within the 3 to 6 month period. Some will take longer...but after you reverse it you have to keep it under wraps..Which is still following a healthy diet. Can't go back to eating cakes and chips and stuff.

It actually is good advice. Your insulin and blood sugar spikes after a big meal. When you eat smaller portions you keep insulin and blood sugar levels stable. It is hard though because you have to eat these small means consistently otherwise your blood sugar may dip too low.

My Grandfather married a wonderful woman who was very mindful of his diabetic diet, and fed him so healthfully that his went into remission. This was over a period of _YEARS_ mind you, nonetheless, it was a regular diet with desserts and the foods he liked in the amounts he enjoyed.

I dropped my A1C from 12.2 to 5.3. I cut back on my portion size and cut bread, pasta, rice sugary drinks and POTATOES out of my diet. I threw them all away. Some days I ate more than 1200 calories most less than 1000. The key is exercise. I walk for 35 minutes on my work days and hike 4 to 10 miles on my days off. I exercise 7 days a week.

Low calorie, low carb, high fiber, nutrient rich (vitamins and minerals). Drink tea for hydration or just plain water. Far too many people do not take diabetes and diet seriously enough. Causing not just high blood sugars, but also inflammations of skin, blood vessels and joints.

My man has type 2 now, and he had eaten a rich life of fruits and veggies as a child growing up. But yet he still got it anyway. He can't have lots of fiber because of the bathroom breaks would never stop, and neither would the gas that followed after. So basically fruits and all the veggies he ate over the years, was a perfect waist of time for him. He would rather die, then put a bunch of fruits and veggies into his system that didn't prevent him from getting type 2 in the first place. He will not jab himself for blood sugar checks, or the use of insulin either. If its not in a pill form, forget it. He won't take it, and he said that if I try to jab him he will deck me. So I won't dare to try, so sad that our stupid governor pushed him to having type 2 in the first place, when she shut down the state. Its all her fault for pushing him from being pre-diabetic to full blown type 2 over the stupid covid BS. My man said he would rather get covid, then have type 2 any time.

I am very confident that diabetes can be put into remission with much higher calorie levels than these if the calories are well chosen. My A1C was 13.2 and I have gotten this down to the 6.0 to 6.3 range with about 2500 - 3000 average calories per day. Also, three small meals is a very, very difficult way to do this because once you start eating you want to have a satisfying meal and feel full. You would be better off restricting the time window to eating only over 8 hours per day- maybe 12pm to 8pm, or whatever works best for you- many days I eat over just 4 hours per day, maybe 530 - 930pm, and this really has given me the best results- the more days like this, the faster my A1C goes down. I am very confident I am on track for an A1C of 5.0 to 5.5 within the next year, based on the progress I am making. Sadly, this is a poorly designed study- restricting calories this much is not needed for excellent results, and this low of a calories level will not give most people even close to enough energy for the day. Still, people should push hard for a lower A1C to avoid blindness, amputations, and other terrible effects of diabetes.

I just found out that I'm pre-diabetic, my AC1 was 5.7 so I jumped on the wagon, of reducing carbs/sugars. I don't drink coffee anymore because the creamer I was using was 1500 cal😯. I am using a program/app that counts calories, fats, etc. I have only been eating maybe 700-1500 calories a day. The menus on my app are good but it's the same old stuff. And today I found myself feeling sick, im guessing the lack of coffee, and maybe a little dehydration 😔 I ordered a glucometer to see what my sugars are actually at, cuz I know my body and I get shaky at times along with a rapid heartbeat. This has been difficult for me because it's the mentality that when someone tells you you can't eat certain foods you feel a bit lonely and defeated

@@pauldonjohnson4290 Sorry I didnt see this. For lupus you will nee a lifestyle change for at least a year. No toxins at oil. Meaning no processed foods. Cut out starch and sugar. You want to have a huge smoothies daily and get some omega 3 to bring down all the inflammation you have in the body. Flax seed is a good omega 3. Try to eat meat with no hormones or steroids. You want to eat meat once a day for 4 days a week amd go meatless the other days. Only eat veggies with meat and nothing else. Use natural products on the body becaise those toxins seep in and inflame you and keep you sick. Chlorophyll ,D3, Turmeric and ginger are great for helping those with lupus. Usually your body will go into a detox aka Herxheimer or what some cause a healing crisis. I would say you will need to look up the symptoms for that. Most feel like they have the flu for about a week. If you press through the other side of that you will feel great buttttttt if you go back to your old ways before that year is up. Your flare will come back with vengeance. I warn many but they all usually have to learn the hard way. That is why I say this is a lifestyle change. I would say go vegan but most don't handle that well and fail. Best wishes

Just go keto. Lowers blood sugar, I speak from experience. This diet shown here will easily cause relapse. If you're a fan of pasta, buy a spiralizer and make zuccini noodles to pair with sauce. For me it's alfredo. Canned tuna with mayo and cabbage is a super quick and easy meal. Avocado, spinach and italian dressing is a very tasty salad. Mozzarella and tomato salad with olive oil and balsimic vinegar is also great. I love asparagus with butter, lemon and chili sauce. If you really want to bread then you can make flatbread using almond or coconut flour for a very low carb substitute flatbread. You can buy ultra low carb tortillas from most supermarkets and toaster them up to make into crackers or chips. Pork rinds also make a great snack with no carbs. Cheese sticks are also a viable snack. There's quite a lot you can eat while controlling your blood sugar. Personally I was diagnosed with diabetes while in high school with a blood sugar level of over 200. I can now reliably keep it below 100 through a strict diet that limits carb intake.

I try to design specialized diets that taste good for all of my customers so that they don't feel like they are missing out on anything just because they have to substitute. What I meant by herbivore is that I do eat meat but seldom. Mostly, I eat vegetarian with dairy so as not to confuse anyone. So for example, maybe once a week, sometimes twice a week I might eat meat other than that it is mostly vegetables (salads, etc., all the time) so I consider myself pretty much an herbivore for that very reason.

Update: it worked! 3 months later, a1c normal, lost 70lbs., on more of a carnivore diet now eating 2 meals a day or 1 large meal a day most of the time. Eating the foods I love, and blood sugar usually doesn't go over 125. AVOID PROCESSED FOODS! Meat and vegetables ONLY! No juice or sugary drinks. You'll only crave that stuff for about a month. Can't stand the sight of a soda now, never thought that'd be me.

@a-totally-random-person
@a-totally-random-person 3 жыл бұрын
@@gigis27 I'm not a physician or a healthcare professional. I'm a fat guy who loves food and ate himself into type 2 diabetes. You should discuss this disease with your doctor first. I can only tell you what I think worked for me based on information I found online. I watched this video the day after my diagnosis and went on to Jason Fung, Dr. Berg, and some Ken Berry videos from there. First of all, don't be sad about it. Fight back starting right now! You'll either reverse it and be fine, or you'll adjust to life with it. After you realize that, eat a low-calorie diet NATURAL FOODS ONLY for the first couple months if you can. Low carbs, and high fat (healthy fat from nuts and avacado for example. Without carbs, you'll need it for energy). I recommend treating processed foods like an addiction, and it probably is one if you're like me and most people I know; do not allow yourself to have ANY until you've healed yourself. Carbohydrates are your enemy for now, and sugar is the DEVIL! Mostly non-starchy vegetables with a little lean meat like fish or skinless chicken breasts should get you there. I think that'll get the fat out of your liver and pancreas allowing them to function properly, assuming you also have fatty liver like many type 2 diabetics do. Test your blood sugar first thing each morning before and 1-2 hrs after each time you eat something, and once each night until you learn how different foods and activities affect your blood sugar. Once you've taken control of your diet, start intermittent fasting to work on your insulin resistance. It seems to be true that the more insulin there is in your blood, the less your body responds to it. With the intermittent fasting and low carbs, your pancreas doesn't need to produce as much insulin, and your body should respond better to it. If your doctor has you taking insulin or any other medication, make sure you keep track of your doses and your blood sugar and maintain regular contact with your doctor when you notice your blood sugar is getting too low often enough. If you stick to it, you'll likely have to be taken off diabetes medication within a few months. I'm 5 months into my diagnosis. My a1c went down to 5.9 after 3 months, I've lost 75 lbs., off all medications, and I'm feeling pretty good about myself for the first time in my life. I still have work to do, but I now eat once or twice daily with pretty good sized portions, and a lot more meat than in the beginning. I ate a high-carb meal for the first time since Christmas yesterday, and my blood sugar peaked at 127. I was the happiest man alive! I was motivated to beat this disease so I could get back to eating all the unhealthy foods I thought I couldn't live without. After about a month, I didn't want them anymore. I've gotten addicted to my health, and I never thought I'd be that type of person in this life. I think most people can come back from this disease if they fight their urges. Find a diet that works for you as long as it's ketogenic and unprocessed. Try not to snack in between meals and try not to drink anything that isn't water. As your blood sugar adjusts to normal, you'll feel hypoglycemic. I thought I was gonna pass out a few times. I was fine, but no one warned me about it, and it scared the hell out of me. Turned out I was on the right track. Also, getting into Ketosis made me feel sick some days for about a month. I got headaches until my body adjusted to a healthier lifestyle. I stuck with it, and I feel like a million bucks now. 2 keys are ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting. Do the research, and welcome to a healthier life. Somehow this diagnosis changed my life for the better. Don't let it beat you. Kick it square in the ass. Better to go down swinging than to quit. Ask me anything if you need to. Nothing's off-limits.

My mom is not statistically significant or peer reviewed but her experience has had real significance among her circle of friends and family. 2 years ago, my 80 year old mother finally had a follow up appointment with her physician which was delayed for months because her doctor has been in charge of treating Covid patients in the hospital and in nursing homes and was not able to meet with her. She had a full blood panel taken for this visit and her doctor was astounded at the progress she had made during the last year. She is now no longer diabetic and she was instructed to stop taking insulin after having been on it for 12 years. Her doctor also praised her kidney function which has never looked better. Also, she couldn't believe that her total cholesterol was only 139, with LDL of 67, HDL of 60, and triglycerides of 82 which is a big improvement for her. According to the Framingham Heart Study, these numbers mean that she is virtually "heart attack proof" as many plant based doctors have noted. Her physician mentioned that she is reconsidering the diet for her family based on this experience. She also asked my mom to share her experience with our community after the pandemic. All of these results are exactly what I had hoped would occur. Here is the menu that I had developed for her to try to mimic what she was used to eating -> "GSP Mother's Menu" - While this menu is not a pure whole foods plant based diet, it appears to be health promoting enough to work for her. I plugged her bloodwork test values into the Levine Biological Age Calculator (free online) and she has aged minus 15 years during the last 3 years. I joke with her that she may be required to give up her Social Security benefits if she keeps going like that. My understanding is that low carb diets are a workaround that do not address the root cause of diabetes which is excess intramyocellular lipids (also fatty liver/pancreas) and the resulting insulin resistance. Excess saturated fats and refined sugar/flour are the most common cause of this metabolic system failure. Unless a person can eat whole complex carbs again without spiking their blood sugar, type 2 diabetes has not been reversed. Cheers!

They could have had 10 times the amount of vegetables without much difference in the calories or the blood sugar spikes. Why not have a giant salad for lunch? There are plenty of low glycemic high fiber options like chick peas that would make this a lot less spartan.

Could OXALIC ACID be the cause of Diabetes type 2 (oxalates in the liver), fibromyalgia, kidney stones, and gout (uric acid +oxalates). VITAMIN D3 (50ng/ml) + Chromium makes an enzyme called oxalic acid reductase that converts oxalic acid to lactic acid. Metformin causes lactic acidosis as a result of chelating oxalates to oxalic acid (then in turn gets converted to lactic acid by methylation.)They should try at least 4000 IU vitamin and add chromium. Most enzymes and proteins made by vitamin D3 hormone upregulation are at the vitamin D3 blood level @50ng/ml eg. glutamylcysteine ligase. Metformin and citrate chelate oxalates can be determined by test tube studies in calcium oxalate. They should try vitamin D3 (4,000 IU) and chromium. Chromium is expected to be deficient as a porphyria (co-porphyrin-1)develops in the autistic that have high oxalic acid levels and low vitamin D3 status based on the lack of glutathione which removes heavy metals from the body. They should try chromium 200 mcg along with the D3 to remove oxalic acid by converting it to lactic acid. It would make for a very interesting study to gauge the porphyria (co-porphyrin-1) in type 2 diabetics? have been doing this for people for 9 years now. I am telling them to go to their physician and see if they want to monitor their vitamin D3 level along with getting chromium in their diet. I tell them the first time they take vitamin D3, calcium citrate and chromium to expect leg cramps or diarrhea due to the production of lactic production. Everyone who has followed through this process of taking vitamin D3 up to 50 ng/ml blood level along with getting chromium are no longer diabetic. Some even said thank you for the heads up on the lactic acid buildup and for helping them with their diabetes. I have no lab once I discovered the link between autism and diabetes is oxalic acid and that there is one porphyria in the autistic is elevated. I reasoned that chromium was the atom at the center of the porphyrin ring for an enzyme that converts oxalic acid to lactic acid as oxalic acid levels are increased in autism, fibromyalgia, gout, and kidney stones (these comorbidities are elevated in type 2 diabetes . RAR receptor (vitamin A or (pio)/ (ros)glitazone) is also linked as the vitamin D receptor is associated with vitamin A expression vector. Tumor necrosis factor is also controlled by vitamin D3 levels as a repression @ 50ng/ml. I have been nondiabetic for over nine years now. The paleo diet also works for type 2 diabetes because the liver is rich in chromium (Kale, egg yolks)and vitamin D3.

Potatoes are not bad. It's the fatty animal products like sour cream, bacon, and cheese that are bad. Humans are natural starch eaters and have thrived on starch for most of our history.
