Had the same problem on a Ford custom 2015 with 201k mileage, tried DPF Doctor chemical clean first then we removed it and had it professionally cleaned regeneration worked once it was cleaned but it came back on within a couple of days. The second time we replaced the glow plugs as the customer thought this would help, still the same so we’ve reset it and he’s going to bring back next week. I might check the thermostat out as the temperature was taking too long to warm up and I’m going test the exhaust fuel jet as I didn’t check that. I’ll let you know when it comes back. If you ever came across a blocked DPF would be very interesting video to cut it up open and see what is inside like...thanks for another video

It’s just a big honeycomb pretty much and when their chocked their just full of an rusty coloured dust

The JLM is awesome gear I use it daily. I think on the video you might not of done it correctly. You need the vehicle upto temp, then switch off and fill with the stage 1. Leave to soak 5mins then accelerate 3k rpm until smoke has gone. Then with the vehicle running at 3krpm apply the second stage fluid in a couple second bursts with a few seconds in between until all fluid has gone, then continue to keep the vehicle revving un till tail pipe is clean. Then it states to carry out a forced regen, but how ever inprefer to drive the vehicle with no resets to allow the vehicle to do its own calculations and regens. Never had one yet that fails a clean. Unless of course I've identified a melted dpf prior.

It is good stuff and so is the wynns. I've done dozens of videos using it but no good in this extreme case. If you look at the video you can see the engine is up to temp.

If you reset the values it won't regen because it thinks the dpf is clean. It needs about 20 miles of driving for the sensors to evaluate

Have a look at ecs solution there based in Scotland you can get 5ltr cleaning fluid 2 stage I use it with no problems what so ever never failed

Got the same van, I'm having trouble with my DPF right now, had it in for repair a few weeks back, the Exhaust gas sensor had melted away on the end, and it looks like it may have then damaged the filter itself, so looking like it all needs replacing now (as the EM light is back on, and van is back in limp mode).

do you think your launch gun maybe the problem, not spraying the cleaner in at the right presure, or the presure normally reached by your brake tool you used to use

No. The Launch gun is connected to the compressor with 9bar of pressure

Check it with Mano meter , kpa is actually hpa ,

Hi jimmy, I’ve got a 62 plate mk7 transit 2.2, I’ve hardly used it in the last 3 years and the dpf has started giving me issues, engine management light and another orange light, it’s coming up with p2463:00-af (soot) and p246c:00-af forced limited power, I’ve taken the dpf off and ran the wyness off car cleaned through it for a few hours, then blasted it through with a jet wash, (didn’t know about putting it through the intake like you do on the car, put it all back, in live data I have 2x dpf percentage columns which I don’t understand? One saying 240% and one saying 220%… i held revs at 2.5 and then took it for a drive (still with reduced power) one column went right down to 46% but the other went up to 251%… I’ve tried a static regen but once upto 80+degrees it’s starts the regen then after 3-4 mins stops and says it’s unsuccessful, trying to drive it with live data on the percentage actual has gone back up to 51% now and doesn’t drop past that, still in limp mode, can’t clear the faults and can’t do a regen, I’ve followed your video and test the vaporizer that’s working, so do I need to set it as a new dpf to get it to clear? I have the Autel but I use it for programming keys as I’m an auto locksmith not too clued up on the dpfs, I’d book you to sort it but I’m up north, if you could help I’d appreciate it.

The percentage is just calculation. Reset adaptions will put that to 0.0 by telling it the dpf has been replaced. The differential pressure is what matters. Should be under 10mbar on idle. Under 80mbar at 3000rpm

@@ORileysAutos ah ok, so I’ve just tested it, says it is 1.16kpa(11.6mbar) on idle… and 7.7kpa (77mbar) on 3k revs… exhaust gas temp is 1 in red (suggested is 0.04-0.76)?

Was he still happy to pay your call out and work done fee as you pumped a fair amount of expensive fluid into it plus time?

Fluid always go in cold dpf. Test senzor and evap. Fuel is on end.
