Personally I was a little surprised with the Rimac's start. I would have assumed, (with all that HP and TRQ) as well as being lighter it would have blown off the line. However, the Porsche held its' own for a short distance. I assume this is in the programing so they don't destroy tires and drivetrains.

I have a recommendation. A 💥💥💥 lineup for a race. Biggest rivalry in my opinion. It's BMW M5 COMPETITION, MERCEDES BENZ AMG E63S and AUDI RS7 SPORTSBACK. Similar stats, similar price range, bitter rivals, could be a tight fight. If you can pls do this......

I asked specifically for a 2016 car, because those are the quickest-accelerating F1 cars ever (yes, today's cars have more developed PUs, but they aren't necessarily all that more powerful [no "party mode", lower oil consumption, etc.], and they are heavier and much draggier of course... some people will also ask, what about 1980's F1 with special qualifying "grenade" turbo engines? my answer: gearbox sucks, drivetrain efficiency sucks, traction sucks compared to modern F1, they also had barn doors as rear wings, so their top-end isn't good either, they aren't any quicker than 2016 cars).

Trouble With leccy Cars is the delay in throttle response,my Ebike is the same, give it the beans from a standstill and there's a slight delay, in my old manta it was Immediate response, mechanical linkage straight to the twin choke webber carb, I bought a cavalier mk2 Sri after that, with electronic fuel injection and, although the Sri was faster in a straight line, it's response was slower, only by half a second but Noticeable, its because of the delay going through the management system, whereas the Response from, a carburettor engine, if set up Correctly and not by a yahoo cowboy, is instantaneous

for 2 million euro and 1900hp Rimac are actually slow vs this 20x cheaper vehicles and that means Rimac will lose vs tuned vehicles relative easilly especially vs tuned GTR alpha Nissan and UK are full of them but Rimac dont pay him for compare with tuned cars then with 3x weaker ones

@CT is infant grade content now having experience with EVs i got to say, they are quite a lot of fun. Its a different experience alltogether. And, in case of the E-Tron GT, the sound is appealing too. I have driven all Audi and VW EVs, even the ID.3 is funny to drive. The instant torque is just so unexpected every time. For curvy roads id still prefer my e30, but as a measure of getting places comfortably (and within 300km), they are starting to become viable.

The best I've gotten on my Honda CBR1000RR that I just purchased new back in December 2020 is 10.2 seconds in the quarter mile on stock tires.
