This mod feels kinda essential if you play with Darkest Night. In Darkest Night, every night has a chance of spawning monsters that can effortlessly rip apart colonists, but disappear if they enter a lit area. Would you guess what moment Rimworld decided to send me a solar flare? Right in the midst of a darkest night! One of my colonists died (also they make corpses of people they killed disappear so... no resurrecting that) while the others had to hide in the storage area, in which they were able to quickly make torches from the stockpiled wood. Helixien gas would've saved me if I'd used it, and funnily enough it was literally in the modpack I was using but I just didn't use it.

This mod used to have gas vents which could be used for crowd control/prison breaks, it was a sad day when they removed it

I don't often use this mod, but when I do, it's for refuelling the pod launchers. There's really no reason why vanilla shouldn't have a familiar system but with chemfuel. It would make chemfuel far more viable as a power source.

Helixien light, while inefficent, can help your helixien workbenches and hospital avoid darkness penality during solar flare

Regarding bugs where pumps don't work due to perfomance mods, often it helps to just save and reload the game to fix this problem. It requires the pump to be connected to a tank, though.

I have a request for future videos. If you have a segment with math and comparisons, please type the numbers out on screen. It makes it a lot easier to follow if we can see "240 lamps with this setup, 400 with this setup" and so on.
