@@foreverrockinout wired it in so save battery hassle. Service only dropped off twice since I’ve had it, possibly was my router that caused it. Works well and happy with it 👍

The video quality is much better than on the Pro. The audio is excellent, compared to Pro which was barely usable. The other features are less important to me. I want a clear picture of any burglars, so higher cost can be borne. For night vision, leave a porch light on dusk to dawn. Color will be better at night with the porch light.

Seems like an exaggeration, considering this is like the fourth or fifth version. And you can hear the person fine on the 2nd

Surprised this doesn’t illuminate unless the button is pressed. The basic Ring Wired Doorbell lights with a white ring which is great at night.

Nice video but I didn't see any features cited which are unique to the pro2. Everything mentioned is available on the pro 1 as well i believe so I wish the differences would've been more clearly presented.

Alexa greetings is a bad idea. Package delivery companies just drop off the package, ring the bell and immediatly take off and don't stick around to talk.

Ahhhh good to know that Ring's Color night vision is not so good after all so I saved money not to spend on Ring Battery Door Bell Plus ...:) !! It looks like the Smart Response feature wise is varying among the Ring models...like I am using cheapest Ring Door Bell (included Ring Chime, normal price like $79 and I got on sale for $59.00) and it doesn't have Alexa and/or other Smart Response option like on the Ring Door Bell Pro :) !!

Has to be wired, or you can purchase their extendor. You plug that inside the house, and they give you a 10 foot cord to reach the ring outside.

Last night had an Older kid beat the hell out of my storm door, then run like Hell. They did multiple houses in our subdivision, as well as damage Christmas lights and go into mail boxes!! Tried to post the Video on Ring Neighbors, in hopes someone would recognize the person. Filled in all info on the Ring Site and Ring rejected my request, saying not enough info was given!! Hell I'm not filling out a Police Report sufficient to be acceptable in court, just trying to notify my neighbors. Tried 2x, Ring refused 2x. Yes, I notified my Sheriffs Dept, seems I was about the 12 report in my neighborhood!! In my personal opinion Ring Customer Service sucks.

The Pro's - none The Cons - motion alerts take 5 minutes audio constantly freezes on playback audio has motion gaps triggered for no reason amazon customer support sucks more than this product...

Returned the ring pro 2 and went back to nest. Night vision was worse, and the daytime video was pixelated.

Not sure why your video is pixelated. Could be not enough upload speed on your internet? Mine is great.

Easy solution. Put a motion sensing light near your doorbell to light up the area. I don't have any problems with daytime pixelation. I use Google, Wyze, Ring and Ubiquiti products, no bias here.
