Great explanation Ringo. He made the right choice. Ringo was the one and only Beatle who signed fan mail, and for free. Even one my dads friends got one signed back in the late 80’s. He signed for more than 40 years, thanks Ringo.

Ringo grew up in almost poverty. The story of the Beatles is just an amazing phenomenon. Most bands I assume are made up of former, friends, relatives, classmates, these were 4 guys who just came together and each one was a perfect fit.

I go back to Jerry Garcia's true hippy attitude which was sell the tape of our shows, tape the shows, who cares? I loved that guy. A real hippie in the best and most sincere sense. The only thing he ever asked was that folks went to a designated area to do the taping so others could enjoy the show. This was before the handheld devices.
