I saw Ringo Starr perform with his All Starr Band about 20 years ago now (when the band still had some stars in it). It was an artless but entertaining evening. Ringo sang in his flat, mournful voice, and occasionally, the audience sang along. He didn't drum much or solo (and his drum kit didn't seem to be miked). My abiding impression was of an easy going fella and nice guy who got lucky and knew it. Bless him for still trying with his new records !

Are you talking about Lemont, Illinois. Someone on a Fb thread said the tickets there would be distributed to those who actually live in Lemont first & the rest will be sold to the general public. Heard the tickets will be $90.00-don’t know this venue so maybe all the tickets will cost that. Don’t know how that would be arranged but the tickets aren’t on sale yet. I didn’t even know there was a venue in Lemont. The venue out that way where concerts are very often held is in Tinley Park at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre. Saw Paul McCartney there
