You bring up a good point Paul. Most of us don’t really suffer from a lack of anything. Not food, clothing, medicine, shelter or transportation; but others suffer mightily. We all need to STOP and thank God for our blessings every day.

Pool table slate....:) that is one of 3 pieces. The curved part on the corner is for the pocket....those metal pins allow the 3 ‘"leafs" to fit into each other. If you had all 3 you could build a pool table around it. You are missing the 3rd piece though....normally those fit together and once in place you take some plaster and smooth the crack, sand it smooth, and the felt goes right over the top...:) try a pool table supply co.....they may give you a few bucks for it...sometimes people break them moving a table. That is probably what happened to the third piece.....the pool table co, may buy it off you for repair replacements...

@LadySude14 жыл бұрын
If the rings are real, some jewelry stores will buy them and they pay out pretty well. Example...I had some random rings that I don't even remember where they came from. Some were 10K, a couple were 14K and one was 18K...all of them had some sort of stones in them like little diamonds, rubies, sapphires...etc....as well as a couple silver (stamped 925) pieces. I took them to a "We Buy Gold" shop. The lady tested them and told me she could give me $42 for the metals, but she couldn't pay me for the stones. But then she directed me to a jewelry store across town, that buys jewelry. I took my $42 worth of silver & gold to the jeweler. He looked them over and did his own little testing & examination with a loupe then came back out to me and said, "I can give you $1,200 for all of them, including the silver." ............ I stood there stunned. So it quite literally pays to have them checked out with a jewelry store. Good Luck!!! :D

So sad on many levels: The amount of stationery and clothing that the owner could've donated to communities and schools. Then finding the prescription drugs, personal papers, sobriety coin. As you said, could've all been breakup trash that was hastely assembled with "out of sight out of mind" vibes. I guess too much emotional weight to think about properly disposing of private papers and giving a nice pile of clothes to charity.

I have a thing about finding jewelry , I had a house fire in 97 , the ins company told us to form a trash pile in back yard , things that. Was ruined , I had a leather purse in it I had a ring that was my grandma's she gave me it was 14 k gold a round ruby with diamonds all around it , a diamond cluster ring my husband gave me for our 25 anniversary and my daughter s ring. Birth stone and some assorted gold pieces all I was going. To take to have cleaned and serviced well workers were throwing stuff on trash pile , and I told my husband to please get that purse for me, he did but all of the jewelry was gone , I was sick ,I knew 1 of the workers took it ,none came forward , so you finding jewelry in the trash I any value I would think you would get back to the owner, with trash cans in front of houses it would be easy to find the owner,anything of value it was thrown away by mistake I think as christians that would be the right thing to do
