I am a leb who grew up Maronite, but is now Byzantine. I COMPLETELY agree with your view on the Orthodox Christians! My only critique is that they're not a denomination, like the protestants have, but they're the ONLY group of Christians we can truly call our separated brothers. Outside of the primacy of Rome and its bishop, and thevdeep theology of the procession of the Holy Spirit, (and a few other nuances) we are the same church. Although I am from the Qadeesha Valley back home, where it's 100% Maronite, us and the Orthodox have wonderful relationships back home Glory to Jesus Christ, and let us pray with divine hope for the unification of both of the TRULY apostolic churches!

Call in the help of all the Saints and Angels to join us in Prayer for our worldly “leaders” who need Christ in their lives most of all. To me, this has been a lesson about praying good into an enemy. I give healing towards these people and very soon after, very often. A terrible thing comes by their hands. It seems, at least to me. Praying for their healing, just makes them whole to make further evils. I should have to mention i am strong in spirit. I do these things well. I should have no doubt I was the tipping factor. This is now, three in a row. I would do myself a disservice to not make it known in and around men wiser and more well read than me. Because, this distinction would be a game changer. If we are always to pray for our enemies? Is it always to bless? I have always said no, these days I have tried and this has been my result. Again, this is me, devout and faithful. Making known something which I believe the whole body should be considering. Know, I do not mean prayers to hate. I mean, to pray for, in the manner of our father, harsh retribution. This is something I am trained to do by the mouths of people I much belove to be true in the word, and of an ancient lineage. Much like a Sort of Orthodoxy but Obscured. So I do trust our wisdoms. I wonder more, on behalf of the churches. To place this idea in the mind, so it might teach the body. As, the Spirit Knows, generally, what Karma really is. So we needn't ask if, nor when. We do.

Thank you for this. Pentecostals love to raise their hands and say hallelujah. You need to have a 'right motivation' behind your actions. Yes Easter has been watered down and the Lord Jesus Christ has been removed and replaced by the Easter bunny. Why is this? Its because the world knows that the victory of the resurrection is the triumph of the Lord Jesus Christ over the world the flesh and the devil. We cannot interpret the scriptures on our own because we simply end up with a cult centred around one individual pastor who 'interprets' and then his interpretations 'become' 'the truth' for all 'his' followers. The Lord Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. Pentecostal 'pastors' never actually 'say' 'confession' and or 'hear' confession. Yes we are all sinners and only the Lord Jesus Christ can 'keep' us day by day. We have to live and walk in faith, day by day. We all 'live in a cell' and the Lord Jesus Christ is the only 'light' that can enlighten our lives. Sometimes we 'block out' this 'light by our own 'wrongdoing' but we must 'repent' of our sins to 'restore' fellowship again. May we all 'come back' to the 'true' church.

dont they have an agenda , to unify orthodox and catholic easter dates, that may falo different to the current catholic easter calendar ? if thats the case , then this date would become insignificant necause they will take on the 'new' calendar for easter. so they then would have every option to give it to anyone or anything, since it no longer becomes the easter season for them. thats a hypothesis only. but if thats the case, then our (Orthdodox) calendar will come under attack since our dates will also be revised with their revised calendar. @Whatintheworlt Couldn't disagree more. The Orthodox Church has no need to "update" a darn thing. There's a very good reason we celebrate Pascha after Passover, not before it. And why, pray tell, are Orthodox always so willing to give up what we have--what has served us well for 2,000 years--to accommodate the heterodox? If we truly believe we're members of the One True Church, then it's time to start acting like it. Frankly, I find great value in "being separate" when it comes to the religious calendar. For one thing, it's MUCH easier to tune out all the secular co-opting of Christian holy days. Look what was done--bit by bit, nibble by nibble--to the Dec. 25 Christmas season. Do you see or hear ANY acknowledgement of Christ anymore in civic life? Even a token acknowledgement? No, the world (at Satan's behest) perverted Christmas into nothing more a giant shopping season. Those same forces started chipping away at Pascha, too, and this weekend we see the result. We're up against very dark forces working towards a universal non-Christian "religion." Bit by bit, nibble by nibble, if we're not careful, we'll compromise Orthodoxy right out of existence.

Does the Orthodox Church teach that since Christ death and resurrection is sufficient for all to be saved or healed, that it is ok for everyone to call call their Father. I would certainly speak with a Priest first and foremost. I can only comfort you by saying that I know at least 6 Orthodox Christians who have received the Pfizer and I see no difference whatsoever in them or their spiritual behavior. These, by the way, are very religious or strict Orthodox Christians both male and female. We speak to each other regularly and pray together and belong to the same Orthodox parish. They are fine and just as devoted to Christ as ever. I can't predict what health issues there may be but for now all is well spiritually. Calm your heart, be at peace and let the Lord heal you. And don't forget to speak with your spiritual father or pastor. God bless you!

We are also to belong to and listen to the Church. Christ says that if someone refuses to hear the Church, he is to be considered a heathen and a tax collector. The Church is the pillar and foundation of truth. Christ established the Church for a reason. You are correct to say that simply following a religion is not enough to be salvific in and of itself, however without Orthodoxy you do not have the One Lord, One Faith, or One Baptism. The spirit of the age says everyone is supposed to figure out Christianity for themselves, but the Holy Spirit is found in the Orthodox Church. We are saved by cooperating with grace by faith working through love. Grace is not unconditional, nor are we saved against our will. If you do not eat the Flesh of the Son and drink his Blood, you have no life in you. Not everyone who cries "Lord, Lord!" will be saved, but he who does the will of the Father. Christ prayed that we be ONE as He and the Father are ONE. He promised us the gates of hades would not prevail against His Church. The Holy Spirit was sent at Pentecost to the Church, and has remained with the Church ever since. So remember my dear friend, we are not saved by holding a faith of our own invention. We are not saved by holding a correct opinion. We are saved by cooperating with Christ in the way He told us to. Any attempt at another way is simply pride.
