@@catfan__ Final boss of the game, he switches to a second phase where he yoinks every item you have and uses them against you, so broken builds are instant death unless you cheese it by putting down engineer turrets before he yoinks your stuff so your turrets are still buffed. But when I first met Mithrix, he stole my three ceremonials, killing me nearly instantly once they triggered, since I also had at least one behemoth. Or rather, he now had at least one. Basically, Mithrix was invented to be the boss that says "oh you had crazy luck getting here? You misunderstand. *I* had crazy luck. *You* were just the courier." as he abuses you for your actions. I once, after unlocking it, tried to use the Artifact of Command to pick up like only syringes so Mithrix wouldn't be THAT powerful. I was very wrong. My man turned into the Flash and killed me instantly. Moral of the story: fuck Mithrix, but holy hell is that a genius design for a boss in a game that lets you become basically the boss.

I was at Mithrix 3 times now Somehow I killed him on my first try (though on easy, can't survive 30 minutes on other diffs) The second and third try I died, one of them because I had no attack speed anymore as captain and couldn't get my items back fast enough....

I had a run that lasted me 5 hours (I've got a gif of it towards the end). I literally could just not press a button and everything would die. It got to the point I literally couldn't buy anything half the time because monsters were worth so much gold that my gold would keep overflowing into the negatives while the chest prices didn't. The thing that killed me in the end is the fact that happiest mask could bug out and you could die from the ghosts you summon, those ghosts scaled with me....
