The black painted finish looks great after install but soon after, the steel to steel impact each day causes the unit to look bad and unsightly and rust from the impact, This is a much cheaper finish that their older units that were more like an electroplated or anodized finish. Also the vertical barrier shroud option on the hook is smoke and mirrors. The distance the truck can roll or pull forward until the hook rotates to a vertical barrier position and supposedly restrains the truck is an excessive distance. And in those cases where it does restrain a truck, releasing the truck can now be difficult and can require the truck driver to back the truck up to release the hook, known as hook pinch. Looks nice on paper but in the real world, no so much. Congratulations on a nice "looking" product. Michael Chiaurro
