My issue is my 21 EX Delux wobbles when riding my 6 year old on it. Will changing the sponsons stop the wobble?

Are you referring to lower or higher speeds? If higher speeds, yes it will help. The EX is not as stable as a VX, FX, or GP so you need a little more throttle input with two people on board. However, even thought the EX is Yamaha's current smallest runabout, it is massive compared to it's predecessors. The first time I rode an EX it felt like a boat compared to my previous skis...:)

Actually the opposite. The sponsons make the steering more sensitive so any small amount of input creates a close amount output. This could make it more difficult to stay absolutely straight. I enjoy it a lot more.
