I found out about them after seeing them headline at gaspirilla music festival which is a relatively large music festival in Tampa. They were incredible and Scott holidays guitar tone and amp/guitar selection is perfect.

I remember driving down Sunset blvd with my boy Robin Everhart (bass) back when the band was called Black Summer Crush and he was cranking this jam in his ride when they had just recorded the song as a demo in LA!! Great memories and times circa 2008!!

The last few months I've played Rival Sons records over and over. It's all I want to hear. The music is full of some kind of masculine tender spirit, heartbreak and humor, and love for the human and for art. This is something I can take with me to my grave. I may be trying to fill every cell in my body with it before I finish. Might I add, Jay B's voice is a gorgeous razor. He moves me.
