Good shot Les, this proves that the semi auto rifle has it's benefits sometimes. But my favorite is still the bolt action, mainly, I enjoy these videos. Thanks.

You hit him on the front leg, he bit at where the bullet stung...must have grazed, no solid bone, cause he was runnin' hot on all four wheels. As usual, great calling, great shooting, pro all the way, plus ethics. This set is really coyote, mulie, everything looking!

I always get great enjoyment watching your videos... shooting on the run always adds an extra thrill. I have an AR-15 and completely understand that fabulous follow-up thrill. God bless you, Les... prayers for you continue daily.

Sure looked like a great place to set up. You've got the right clothes for that weather or it'd be hard to last long out there!

Love your stands videos and great shooting how you hit this yote was incredible watching in from Ireland 🐺👏👍

Its nice having the semiauto but the 22-250 seems to lump them up harder. Yes the bullet sizes are close but the 22-250 is far and away better.. Nice shooting though.. Hitting an animal on the run at that range takes years of practice. Impressive..

Great job Les. As already asked, what call are you using? Side note, I met a family in a Las Vegas buffet last week and the father&son were wearing your hoodies. Those look awesome in person. Getting one very soon. How do I get one of your coffee cups?

Les how high do you sight your scope at a 100 yards if you are shooting a 223 .224 x 50 grain bullet? Thanks for your video's always.

What are grain bullets are you shooting? I’ve had quite a few coyotes run a ways on me even with my 223 ar-15 even on solid hits to the vitals... love having the quick follow up shots but my .22-250 match knocks them down much better...
@brianralph28866 жыл бұрын
I am also curious what bullet you are using from the 223. Thanks
@jdkirane79906 жыл бұрын
I would guess he's using hornadys he uses them in all his guns for the most part. I love using the 55 grain vmax in my ar personally. Haven't had a single coyote take a step on me and I've put a good amount of coyotes down with the ar

Les get yourself a AR15 in 204 Ruger drops them just like the 22-250 👍🏻. My father loves his 204. I’m running the 40gr Vmax out of my AR15 223 coyote gun and it’s pretty devastating

Missed on a chip shot last week. 18 hunts and finally saw my first one. After looking for blood i found where it was pacing back n forth in the tree line and saw piss with blood in it. Was it a female in heat? She came in after an hour of calling. Ended the last 15 min with howls.

@denisebailey28946 жыл бұрын
How often could you call some of the same property? Let's say you call a couple in and kill them. What time frame would be good to go back. Tournament hunting.
@tobyh36816 жыл бұрын
+Denise Bailey that's a great question. I was wondering the same.

Give it a week, minimum... Best to leave it for a couple weeks. But it depends a lot on population density...
@marknollmeyer6 жыл бұрын
Depends if its a high traffic (coyote traffic) area or not IMO. I've made a stand in the morning - killed one, then made the same stand again in the evening and killed another one the same day. I was able to pull 3 dogs in 4 days off of that piece sitting in the same spot. I attribute that to it being a good area with lots of traffic
