Love your videos Les. Might not like seeing old dogs in bad shape, but it helps the health of the pack to take them out. How do I get a coffee cup?

Thats the fun of hunting coyotes they come from all directions even behind you, sucks when it happens but very satisfying when they come exactly from were you anticipated

Brother & I were sitting at the top of an arroyo w tons of tracks up/down it. Had walked in on a trail of chollo cactus about 2.5 ft wide, sat on the top edge w cactus on both sides tight & started calling. 20 minutes later said screw it & turned to get up & there were FOUR of them sitting side by side 3 feet behind us just watching us!! By the time we jumped up & turned our rifles around they were GONE! Went through that cholla field like it wasnt even there. Surprised the hell out of us!! Chollas are MEAN! The apaches used to throw their enemies into them. Millions of barbed needles that easily impale skin & DONT let go. Takes pliers to pull em out & hurts like hell. Thoes yotes just melted through em no problem. Have seen cows walk into them & get stuck to them unable to escape. Ranchers set the fields on fire, burns off the needles & then the range cattle can eat em.

I shot one doing that on a group hunt. I shot it a cut corn field. Very strange.

Do y’all eat this meat or use the pelts? My Dad always told us boys,if you kill it you eat it. Shot a black bird one day while Dove hunting.Had to eat it.Not bad but I never did that again.

Coyote has pretty rough meat usually. Pelts are about all thats worth taking.

Yeah, Richard I bet your dad wasn't a trapper or predator hunter. I will leave it at that.
