Thankyou Mr Mad Fisherman! I am so honoured to have you watching my videos. I am over in Killarney in April staying at the Gleneagles hotel. I won't make it down to waterville but I might make it to the coast for a days sea fishing and a day on lough Leane for the trout or coarse fish. Thanks for watching matey!

Love the videos , I used to fish the Ribble with my father 40 years ago with an angling club from Liverpool . We used to come most Sundays to a farm I cant remember at Ribchester we would travel by coach.I am looking to get back to the Ribble, can you advise what club I should try to join or alternatively any free or day ticket stretches you would suggest? hope you can helpand please keep up the good work. tight lines.
@PikerBiker4 жыл бұрын
Jay thanks for the lovely comment, that farm you’re talking about at Ribchester is called the wood cutters stretch and it is still operating a day ticket it used to be £5 but it is now £10 it is prolific early summer so from 16th of June onwards for a barbel and chub.
@PikerBiker4 жыл бұрын
Alternatively you can also fish at Ribchester on a day ticket which cost you £5 from the spar shop in Ribchester Village this stretch is called the village front and it is a stones throw from the spar shop with good parking and access . Fish the river fish just downstream of the island where the river deepens off close in but be careful you will need strong tackle as it is very rocky on this marginal side but you should look at casting halfway across the river towards the big oak tree on the opposite bank

Love all your videos and i've subscribed. I live about half an hours drive from the Ribble. My question is where do you park for the stretches eithe side of the Tickled Trout and how for do you have to walk as i'm not as active as i used to be?
@PikerBiker3 жыл бұрын
Once u but the ticket at the garage you can park in the car park free of charge that adjoins the back of the garage. It’s literally next to the river and also free parking at Gregsons farm mate. Thanks for the support Davey
