Caught a 30+ flatty on Saturday kayak fishing the Cedar river. Along with 6 others anywhere from 5-10 lb channels. All were within 2 foot of water over sand. The 30 was in 1 foot fo water and slammed the bait. All were caught bumping with shad. Unfortunately I work for a living so Friday can't come soon enough.

Ya man nice fish. Cool river. They've been on down here the big crick till yesterday when the cold front moved thru. All our big ones come outta four foot or less with deep water close. Two over 90 pound blues. My son caught one outta the boat anchored up in three foot of water and a friend caught one off a sand bar in four foot. They were healthy fish. One ten inches shorter than the other only fatter. Two pounds apart. A 90 and a 92. That's three 90 plus in two weeks that I know of. Should be good again this weekend so hope you get to go out. Great vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎🙏🏾

Spencer, ex Coastie, 62yrs. Young, had every fish imaginable but never had catfish, when I was much younger was always told catfish was bottom feeder and was like carp, mushy texture, gonna try some fried nuggets for first time, in Arizona with a fish market has all 3, blue, channel and flathead, which one has the best fried flavor? I really like flathead the best. Cut all the red meat off and fry it in small chunks. If you try to fry big chunks or whole fillets they are often mushy.

Love your videos. I watch pretty much all of them. I've noticed that you often hold your paddle upside down. The lettering or branding should be facing you so that it reads right side up. I think if you will take a minute and look at the shape of the paddle blade you will see why this is true.
