I've been a BoA fan for almost 10 years, and finally last January she came to my country (Chile) for SMTown Concert and it was EVERYTHING, she killed it, she is an amazing Live performer Many new fans of kpop meet her in the concert and feel in Love with her She is a QUEEN, and also is a creative director in SM, in a joking manner she is know for being the reason SM bought their building, and the reason to get the amazing groups that came after her 😉

And that is why SM selected BoA when she was 11 or 12 and why she debuted when she was only 13 years old because she is so amazing, and she did it all as a solo artist without the help or support of a group. Can you believe that BoA debuted in 2000 which means she has been in the industry for close to 20 years now and she is only 32 years old. :D She was one of the youngest artists in the industry when she debuted and she is now one of SM's longest held artists. She started under SM and is still represented by SM. So she has been in the industry for almost 19 years and she is still younger than a lot of artists who have come after her. That's how much of a legend she is. :D She has even released an English album in America and her English song "Eat You Up" was pretty popular and even made it on the American music charts. She was one of the first Kpop artists to chart in the U.S. -- the song actually was played on some mainstream U.S. radio stations. If you haven't already, I recommend checking out her MV for "Eat You Up" its pretty epic and her dancing is so iconic. She is considered one of the best female dancers in the industry. BoA is an OG of OGs Key of SHINee is such a fanboy of hers. LOL You should really watch one of the latest episodes of "Happy Together Ep. 569 with English Subs" which featured all of SM artists such as BoA, Key from SHINee, Beakhyun and Sehun from EXO, Jaehyun and Taeyong of NCT, Comedian Lee Soo Geun and MC Jeon Hyun Moo. The episode was filmed at SM Entertainment and it talks about the history of SM and all of SM's top artists, etc. It was a great episode.

the actually kpop queen, yes! she is part of the first generation of kpop, or diamond generation, that goes between 1990~2000. she became a trainee very young, only 12 years old (debuted with 14), and is definatly one of the best dancers and singers in the whole industry. she has a important role beside s.e.s, shinhwa and sechskies in the naturalization of the korean pop. this groups/solist is knowed by their natural beauty and vocal quality, as you guys can see it haha! but she's actually one of the firsts to spread the kpop into japan and usa by herself (by the way, she's fluent in both languages), and we as a multifandom appreciate that for opening the ways and breaking that boundries so young. so yeah, thank you for the reaction, she deserves the whole world, and actually she owns it ♡

Yass I love that you’ve decided to react to Queen BoA. Please do check out more of her stuff. She has been in the game for ages; about 19 years if I’m not wrong. She was scouted by SM when she was 11 and became quite famous as soon as she debuted and she’s been slaying ever since. She’s basically the one who lead the Hallyu wave. She’s also an actor and song writer. She’s judged and produced for few of these survival shows and she’s also a director at SM. This woman is basically the definition of success!

BoA is amazing, like nothing you'll see in Kpop. She's a 32 years old woman, active since the year 2000 meaning that she belongs to the 1st gen of Kpop as we know it. I've been a fan since 2002 and she has always been ahead of the game and it has been worth it, she has worked SO hard since she was 11 years old when she auditioned and debuting at the age of 13. She debuted in Japan successfully only 1 year after debuting in Korea and back then it was a huuuuge feat so I can confidently say she paved the way.

BoA is just a monster performer. She's been in the industry since she was 13, and she's 32 now. I think she's still easily one of the top 3 best female dancers in K-pop. That's how good she is. If you ever check out her video for Shadow, her choreography for that song showed so many shades of Janet Jackson circa Rhythm Nation days.

BoA was my introduction into k-pop (even though most of the songs I knew from early on are in Japanese) back at the turn of the century. When I learned she was Korean I tried to find all of the songs that I heard in her native tongue and that led me to groups like S.E.S and Super Junior. She is the absolute Queen of K-pop, no doubt!
