Will be interesting to see how you like the A2Z PRO, when it arrives.

Yeah looking forward to trying it

I've found with the org A2Z on the LYRIQ, it is prone to catch the charge port door when pulling out and has unclipped it sending it to the ground. It just clips back in place, but for sure not made for the cadi. The pro would be a better option I think on the cadi.

Great info. Thank you. I won’t use the A2z original in my Lyriq. I will test the pro and make sure it’s ok.

For reference, what date did you take delivery of your R1T?

September 16, 2022

@@ByTesla237 fingers crossed I'll get my adapter soon then! I have a Dec 2022 VIN R1S, but delivery was delayed to Jan 2023 for some quality reasons.
@ByTesla2373 ай бұрын
Yeah I hope you get it soon. I got a shipment notification and received it within a week of the notification. It took several months from the original email when I registered for the adapter. Ours was an August 2022, then which we took delivery on September 2022. It’s a much better adapter in my opinion than the other aftermarket options.

Out of curiousity, would it be possible to not take up 2 spots when using a Tesla supercharger? Is this a viable solution when Tesla superchargers are full, will other manufacturers and their different location of plugs be hard to organize things?
@ByTesla2373 ай бұрын
The new V4 chargers have longer cables and are centered typically so it doesn’t take up two spots. Also, depending on the layout, a Rivian or an F150 can park on the far right charger and not take up a extra spot. But yes, this will be an issue until chargers, get upgraded with longer cables like version 4s.

Do you know when the Nissan Ariya will receive their NACS to CCS adapter?
@ByTesla2373 ай бұрын
@@gunner_w they are way behind on adapters. GM Chevrolet and Cadillac are next. They will release the adapters and update the software in all of those vehicles at the same time. Even if you have the adapter right now, they will not work without the software update. They still haven’t even shipped all the adapters for the Ford people and the Rivian people. The only reason I got mine is because we have a truck from 2022. I would hope Nissan will get adapters out to people by the end of 2025 I would recommend buying an A2Z typhoon pro adapter so you will be ready when the Nissan cars are allowed on the Tesla network.

@@ByTesla237 Tesla is really taking over the EV market, I might have to get a model 3 after my ariya lease is over!

@@gunner_w yeah their energy division will be bigger than their cars. It’s unreal to me. And you definitely can’t go wrong with one of the new model 3s. I’ve driven them a couple times and they are incredible.
