I very much like what Rivian has done for an electric truck and SUV; they have managed a trick that the Big 3 and Tesla are still missing. If they can solve the factory output issues, they are going to win the market. When they can, I would love to see a two-door short wheelbase Jeep-like competitor, maybe call it the R1A (A is for adventure!)

The key "hook thingy" is called a carabiner and yes they are used for rock climbing, but I would use that one. That one would be good for clipping to your belt loop or on your purse strap so you don't lose your keys. I love your videos. I'm addicted to your channel!!!

The Rivian charging port is at one of the locations on a vehicle that is most likely to get damaged, simple fender bender, and you cannot charge your Rivian, cool stuff that.

A great looking car, some very good practical pieces there too.I don't like the fact that there are no knobs or switches for everyday controls though! Same as a lot of manufacturers today though grrr! And the charging point is in a silly exposed place too ! , but overall a good well thought out car !

04:40 - every decent modern car tracks the key (no need to fumble). skoda e.g. has a neat touch gesture to close the car and you simply grab the handle to open. never locks up when the key is inside. this is literally standard by now. 10:38 "to be honest my only real thing is ah...." to have 830bhp and to live in the states.

I have no where to write this and no one to tell because I work with err….people who don’t follow this sort of thing. Met RJ Scaringe when he checked into my hotel a few days ago. He was humble, polite and extremely kind. My hotel messed up his booking, room and had no idea who he was. I was already a fan of the vehicles. I absorb a lot of Tesla fan stuff. Most of which thinks the negative profit margins and soft money will crush Rivian. That it will become the Delorean of EV’s. Having met the man and knowing how these things are, in just the innovative, outside the box, whole new world, same space as the best of Tesla. I don’t know any real EV fans who have anything but respect for these vehicles but now having met the man. I just want them to succeed more than ever.
