VIXX are famous for switching from cute to dark concepts and back to happy-go-lucky ones. So Starlights (VIXX fandom name) never knew what to expect :))) And I recommend to watch VIXX Japanese MV - Depend On Me, it's amazing.

"On and On" was the first dark concept. Hyde and Voodoo Doll followed it. As far as GR8U, they had to learn the lyrics in reverse to create that amazing video. Oh, and I'm glad you're going to check out the solos. As far as Leo, his b-sides are great, but at the very least, check out his singles, Touch and Sketch, Romanticism, and Losing Game. The robot that appears in a lot of their videos and things is called Rovix, it is like there mascot like the bunnies for B.A.P which are called Matoki. The year VIXX debuted was the year that a few boy groups came out with what was dubbed the alien era, that included but not limited to B.A.P, EXO and Nu'EST edit: On and On concept was space vampires. G.R.8.U is the Jekyll side to their song Hyde, as in the Jekyll and Hyde story...

The Milky way recording was a secret between VIXX and the Starlights who won the pass to be there. They couldn't say anything and when the video came out, they all went to post videos and pictures because they said they wanted all the Starlights who couldn't be there to experience it from their own experience. I think it's safe to say Starlights (and maybe Shawols) are some of the kindest & well-mannered fans~ VIXX is the only other kpop group (besides EXO) that I've ever considered myself really part of their fandom, and my time as a Starlight was so lovely~~^.^

I hope you know how much starlights (esp on twitter from what I've seen) love you haha! G.R.8.U was actually the song that got me into vixx! And yes, they did need to learn how to mouth the lyrics backwards 😆 but it's also the "Jekyll" side to their "Hyde" era which is why Hyde is playing in the beginning! If I remember correctly, N even helped choreograph some of it! Milky Way is such a heartwarming song! I really love how comfortable vixx is with their fans and how they can walk through the crowd without getting mauled haha. Ravi's rap apparently also includes a lot of inside jokes with K-Starlights. You're also correct that the title a cute call back to the fan name as well! They dropped this song after the Conception trilogy (Dynamite, Fantasy, The Closer) and it was such a sweet note to end on. Vixx releases a fan song in a ton of their albums but I think this one and Love Letter are my faves! 🌟 I'm so glad you got the chance to review them and you like them so much! As many others are saying, their dance practices are definitely worth taking a look at as well as their B-sides (personal recommendations, My Valentine, Love Me Do, Black Out, and Silence)

I echo the recommendation to check out Ken's songs from Duet Song Festival. His amateur partner from that show is now the vocalist in a K-band called Lucy. VIXX has three main types of songs: Toxic love songs, really horny tracks, and songs dedicated to Starlights 😂 But their production has always been top-tier no matter the release. What you're doing right now is really appreciated, and very bittersweet since their prime has pretty much ended but it's never too late to explore their past works. I hope you'll get into Hyuk's solo works on his own channel later on as well!

so happy you got to see these ones too! milky way holds such a special place in my heart ❤️ for solo recommendations taek and ravi have the largest solo catalogues so far so there is plenty of amazing work to look at there. ken does more ballad styles and has some impressive live stages though im not sure if live stage reactions will be blocked on yt for hyuk, my personal recs to start would be - boy with a star - winter butterfly - way to you - a long night hakyeon leans more into choreography performances like - shangri la concept performance - last fantasia - fate 인연 - passionate tango but also a solo recording for one of vixx songs cactus. (선인장 recording sketch) his voice and vibrato are so pretty. hongbin doesn't have much solo stuff which is such a shame as he has one of my fav voices 😢 he has some amazing covers though - lie lie lie (my fav) - aint no sunshine - goyo - the stranger by billy joel i hope this is helpful and you continue to love and enjoy our talented boys ❤❤ thank you

Ken does have a solo album with a ballad title song, 10분이라도 더 보려고. He filmed various live youtube clips for the solo activity that you can check out. He also has solo project works that happened outside of his company, such as 늦은 후회 (a remake ballad song written by a famous composer), 늦잠 (a project ballad song written by another famous composer), and etc. For the song 늦은 후회, there is a live clip that the composer himself played piano and Ken sang on it.
