great videos..great illustrations of the whole signal chain. How about 4-cable methods?

I am in a Rock Duo like Royal Blood or the Black Keys. I run my bass through 4 amps. I have mostly midi enabled pedals. is there anyway to use this as a master controller for all 4 amps?
@rjmmusic6 ай бұрын
If by master controller, you mean that you could connect all 4 amps to it and select which amps are receiving signal, then yes. Just connect the sends of 4 loops to the amps, and don't plug anything into the returns. You can turn any combination of amps on. The only potential issue is that you may encounter hum due to ground loops. To fix it, you would need to flip the ground lift switch on the amp if there is one, or get isolation transformers.

With the example of connecting the Mini Gizmo to the Switchboard, do we have access to parallel pedal selection within the pedals chain?
@rjmmusic8 ай бұрын
Neither the Switchboard nor the Mini Effect Gizmo support parallel routing on their own, but either could support it if you add a line mixer. It's likely that we'll do a video on using a line mixer for this purpose some time in the future.

@@rjmmusic Thank you for your reply, saying that, I'll be looking to buy your Mastermind PBC10.

@@rjmmusic Can we do the same as your pbc6x and MEGX with the Switchboard in terms of the half normal switch connection yofour switchers employ? I'm assuming I could do sends without returns for wet effects with your mini line mixer

@@djcode6983 Yes, for sure, the same trick works on all of our switchers too.

Why not stereo?

just wondering? what if you went from the output of the switchboard into another switchboard daisychain style. any chance of getting anywhere by doing that?
@rjmmusicАй бұрын
You can definitely do that, but the two will act independently - buttons pressed on one Switchboard would only effect the loops on that Switchboard. The Switchboard doesn't have a MIDI input, so it can't respond to commands sent by another Switchboard.

@RJM, do you guys have any plans to purchase the Sound Sculpture company and adapt the Switchblade technology into your loop switchers?
@1973asdf6 ай бұрын
Wow that would be amazing. My only hope is that RJM is planning on releasing a brand new PBC/6X Mk2 in the near future… If they acquired Sound S., their unit would be simply out of this world. If the 6X just had a line mixer for parallel chain.. I have read somewhere though that Sound S. uses a matrix, while RJM uses relays, which keeps the signal intact with no alteration at all. IMO RJM HAS to have a trick on their sleeve because GigRig seems to be more “up do date”, and MusicomLab just released their new EFX-10D for less than $500…
