it performs the best, more light more contrast and color coverage.

RLCD makes sense practically .. especially it wouldn't be exorbitantly costly like e-ink.

According to the review of SVD RLCD monitor from My Deep Guide, the tech is very suitable for outdoor use. Hope you can do an outdoor display effect evaluation, thank you very much! This product is very interesting, I definitely will buy one for my outside work, keep following!!!

SVD's RLCD looks much better than this RLCD. At least on video.
@yubizheng4658 Жыл бұрын
@@ahmedabdo13 Yea, seems like SVD has a better performance on video, but I can't bring the monitor ouside everytime. Let's wait the evaluation.

My reason for going for eink is because i spend all day in front of a monitor, RLCD doesn't seem to replace the feeling of reading on paper and to have low strain on the eyes. Just seems like a regular washed out LCD :/

Would be great if color e-ink have auto smooth mode but only when turning pages for comfortability's sake, that's really not hard to code in won't it?

I think, this video is better if you always show the same image on the both devices.....

Is this technology really easy on eyes though?

I would also doubt on this as it has a 60 Hz refresh rate, meaning, it has flicker... maybe not good for people with migraines and brain injury's.

May I know which one I can use in the dark? I like reading before bed when all lights are out.

In a comment on one of their videos, Eyemoo said their tablet supports USI 2.0 pens (it’s the 2nd generation of the styluses used for Chromebooks-the 2.0 pens are still pretty rare, but it’s used for the newer Lenovo Duets Chromebooks)

Very good information. None of the 45 pens we had around the office worked lol but we will try that one

For some real-world context here, RLCD is fundamentally the same technology used by the original Game Boy up through the Game Boy Advance (non-SP) I think anyone who grew up in that time will agree, under absolutely ideal lighting conditions those screens looked quite nice (well, the GBC and GBA, not so much the original game boy). But under anything even a smidge short of ideal, it suddenly didn't look quite so good anymore.

Why do we need RLCD insted just using lcd tablet?

RLCD what's the difference between that and the iPad?
@goodereader Жыл бұрын
The iPad is standard LED LCD in that it does not have a reflective layer. If you turn the brightness off of the ipad, you can't see it But if you turn the brightness off of rlcd, you can see it fairly clearly

Matte screen protector should help diffuse the light. It helps me with the Hisense Q5 black and white RLCD tablet

Don't really understand what the difference is between LCD and RLCD, why would you get this over say and other tablet? I can understand eink, it has numerous benefits for me it is less strain on the eyes and more natural, but don't understand quite what RLCD achieves

Have you ever seen those old palmtops or scientific calculators, or even some old digital watches that had that greyish or greenish screen with black letters and numbers? That's old lcd, it didn't have a backlight, much like this RLCD (which to me is almost the same). Specially the palmtops, it looked like it was printed on grey paper, way before e-ink. It was REALLY good on the eyes.
