I think it would not reduce the cooling effect because the fan is on the back side of the radiator.

Should the radiator be bleeds for air bubbles after the anti freeze is in ?
@rmatvmc5 жыл бұрын
It's a good idea to turn the engine over a couple times while refilling the coolant to minimize air bubbles, also check the coolant level after the first ride or 2 to make sure it stays topped off. Our boy Cameron Niemela has a short video showing some good tips on how to refill your coolant. If you want to check that out, here it is: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4mkqIuIdptqabM

We don't have one for that bike, but the install process will be very similar. Once you have it connected to your battery, it's essentially plug and play. But we do have one coming soon from Tusk that simplifies install some and has a lower price with the same great quality. Video will be up pretty soon.

@@rmatvmc What is normal operating temp on the trail hot day? What is over heating temps? and what is extreme over heat head gasket type hot?
@rmatvmc5 жыл бұрын
Normal operating temperature is around 180-210 but could get up over that if it's a really hot day. What is too hot will vary with each bike but anything over 230 is starting to get dangerously hot. If you are really worried about it run a high quality coolant along with the fan and you shouldn't have any problems.
